Concept art and in-game model, the barbarian

This is the other specie in the game, a violent tribe of iconoclast reptiles. Their goal ? Destroy all the votive statues. It's the duty of the player to protect the statues to win the game.

I still need to sculpt a proper morphology, closer to the concept art.

Their eyes glow in the night and that can be insanely creepy X'D

First illustrations of the card game

These were easy to make, and that a good point actually. I was a bit worried about making to complexe illustrations. I mean I have a pretty time consuming painting style too, but I achieve each card within 3 hours and they perfectly match the art style of the game !

These files are actually the original assets I'm using in the game, that explains the worn and transparent edges.

 Oh, I'm not gonna complain about making dozen of lewd illustrations, but  it takes time. I really want to publish a good looking card game so  each day, during 3 and 6 hours, beside the code and the 3d stuff, I'm  drawing all the illustrations possible.

Creation of the cover

The previous cover was bothering me: a rough screenshot of an  earlier version of the game. It was the moment to spend at least one day  making a new one, simple enough to finish it quickly but with more work  on the composition, the color palette, the characters. The resulting  illustration will be used as Daggan's thumbnail on itch.io for the next  update, I'm even supposed to slowly modify it in the next releases,  adding details  linked to each update. Behold ! The new update is here: "Survive this"

As you guessed the new update is mainly focus on … the surviving  gameplay ! Yes ! I had to redo all the character's controller for physic  based movements and, the most important, a solid ground for the next  features.
