Hi Patrons,
Next Friday's video is about an incredibly curious story of the Second World War. Yang Kyoungjong was arrested on the beaches of Normandy during D-Day, as he served in the Wehrmacht. He had only recently fought on the side of the Germans, however. Before that, he fought in the Japanese Imperial Army in Mongolia and the Soviet Union's Red Army in Ukraine.
Hope you enjoy!

Hi patrons,
It was a pretty close one, this poll! It seems that most of you are interested in the story behind the guard that jumped the barbed wire of the Berlin Wall during its construction.
Have a great weekend!

Hi Patrons,
Next Friday is about the unsolved mystery surrounding Dan (mistakenly named D.B. by the press) Cooper and his skyjacking of a Boeing 727 on November 24, 1971. It's quite the incredible tale.
Have a great week!

Hi Patrons,
I'm in the fortunate position that I can occasionally release a third video per week. This video about the disappearance of Martin Bormann was, in my opinion, too interesting to schedule for another time.
Hope you enjoy & find it interesting, have a great Sunday!

Hi Patrons,
I've already uploaded this video about a month ago I believe. Due to an error in it, I swiftly removed it during the first 10 minutes of it being online. However, it is very well possible you have seen this video already. If that's the case I apologise that there's no 'new' video this weekend, hopefully you understand.
Hope you have a great weekend!

This is the first episode in the monthly exclusive Patreon series. The story of the Atacama skeleton caught my attention, and although it is a bit different than the general type of videos in this series, I figured it was interesting nonetheless.
The general theme around the Patreon series will be exploration voyages and archaeological discoveries. So it will cover a very broad spectrum. I aim to upload the exclusive Patreon video every 1st of the month (December 1st, January 1st, etc)....

Hi Patrons,
The poll result showed a very clear winner: the video about Europe's father in law. It is an interesting story about the life of King Christian IX of Denmark and how his six children married into prominent royal houses.
Have a great weekend!

Hi Patrons,
Next Friday is about Canadian millionaire Charles Vance Millar. He left the most curious will after his death, stating that the woman that had the most children in the decade after his passing should be awarded his entire estate. As such, the Great Stork Derby was born.
Hope you enjoy!

Hi Patrons,
Next Tuesday's video is about the Japanese-American soldiers that served in the U.S. Army during the Second World War.
Hope you find their incredible story interesting!
For those who missed it, I uploaded a video about the only U.S. Pilot to defect to the Waffen-SS last Sunday, as a bonus video. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/dJd4aa0beQk

I'm also starting to think about the special exclusive Patreon series since we've almost reached the threshold of 35 Patrons. If you have any interesting ideas to centre the videos around, please let me know!

Hi Patrons,
Next Tuesday is all about the incredible tale of Finnish soldier Lauri Törni. He's known as the 'Soldier of 3 Armies' because after serving in the Finnish Army during the Winter War and War of Continuation, he continued the fight against communism as part of the Waffen-SS only to flee to the United States after the war, and join the U.S. Green Berets.
His story truly is an incredible one.
As for the poll: thank you all for the votes! It seems like there's ...

Hi Patrons,
Next Friday's video is now available to you all. It is about the very tragic story of Private Eddie Slovik. This young man was the only United States soldier to be executed for desertion during the Second World War... even though thousands (!) of others deserted before him.
I have also included the story of the arguably luckiest deserter of the U.S. Army, who started a secret new life in a small French village with a local girl.
Hope you enjoy!

Hi Patrons,
A close second in the last poll was the story about the Battle of Castle Itter. It is oftentimes described as the strangest battle of the Second World War. A tiny U.S. army unit joined forces with a Wehrmacht unit that defected, in order to defeat a larger division of fanatical SS soldiers that tried to capture a castle that housed French VIP prisoners such as former PMs Eduard Daladier and Paul Reynaud.
Difficult to wrap your head around, but fascinating nonetheless!<...

Hi patrons, I hope all of you are doing well,
This week plenty of my videos about the Second World War have been hit by demonetizations, so thank you very much for your continued support and patronage. It really does make a fundamental difference at the end of the month.
If there are (non-WW2) topics, you'd like to know more about, feel free to share your ideas in a comment.
Have a great day!

Dear patrons,
The past weeks I've been working on a new category of videos I am incredibly excited about: unresolved mysteries. It will consist of a combination of true crime, ancient mysteries and unsolved space/scientific mysteries.
Please do let me know what you think about this video, the mysterious case of the Dyatlov Pass incident that has puzzled investigators for over 60 years. I experimented with using background music. I'd like to know if you think it's a goo...

If you're having a lazy weekend here's next Friday's video about Japan's first Kamikaze pilots used during the Second World War. The so-called tokkotai (kamikaze) units were only set up in October 1944 and were one of the final desperate strategies Japan used to try and turn the war in their favour.
