Couldn't focus on work so I did a couple sketches. I've been drawing mostly on Procreate recently because it's so convenient not being constrained to my small desk but went back to CSP and my Huion tab for this and not sure what happened but I felt so much freer and looser in CSP!!
Was also testing some brushes and trying to get used to inking again!! Haven't inked in like over a month. Was occupied with studying bgs and painting, I neglected my inks >:[ Not anymore!!!

Just a little tip on exaggerating your refs!
Remember that references are your tool and a guide. Don’t let it limit you. If you find yourself struggling with references it’s okay to set it aside to breakdown and study the shapes.
Basically try and make things easier for yourself.
There’s so much more to cover on this but I hope this is a start!

1) I duplicate my lineart and set a gaussian blur to it. It kinda "softens" my lineart, I like that look a lot!! Sometimes I change my blurred lineart color to red for example. Then it has like a s...
Note from mentorship on studying from reference!
Before drawing from reference, I first study the ref. Even if it's only for a few seconds. I take a lil time out to pick the key things of the ref like my line of action and main asymmetrical flow!
What you can do as a beginner to figure drawing is actually trace your ref to identify these key things. But I have already learned to identify them in my head. It comes with practice ;3
