H1 Sound x SKETCHY VISUALS SFX & Music Pack Vol 1
We all know that having adequate sound on your renders amplify the quality through the roof. Since H1 has been doing my sound design this year my renders have had such good feedback compared to slapping any old instagram sound on my reels.
This sound pack is a compilation of sounds H1 has used on my renders this year so you can use them on your own renders. Modern sounds for modern motion graphics.
If you use the ...

Last time we looked at lighting an Xbox Controller on a dark scene, but this time I am breaking down a scene on a white background which causes us to think about our shadows and scene setup differently as well as different variables like handling our Camera Imager and Materials.
Enjoy!

I want to now utilise everything I have shown you thus far and look at how we can massively contort the composition of our scene through sheer art direction without really importing any new assets or changing the nature of our workflow.

Part 4 will be out Wednesday. Diving into building more and more complex scenes with adding unnatural colours and heavier art direction!

In this part I wanted to exercise really pushing the limits of variability in the different scatters within our scene while keeping consistency and not enourgaging a random combination of chaos among all of our different foliage types.
Moving forward I will show you how to appetise more specificly art directed scenes!

During part 2 of creating these renders I start to introduce you to using multiple sources of scattering and varying between multiple plants and foliage as well as differents scales and lengths.
Enjoy!

I really want to create a lot of structured tutorials here in the form of different parts that really help guide you to desired results with renders.
If you have a look at the collections page you will see I have started to compile some already, of course some tutorials will be general.
An idea I am very keen on is making a lighting series that entirely dissects the workflow of lighting and breaking it down. I have already posted part 1 of this and will continue to post more.

Hello!
Hope you are all doing well.
Part 2 and 3 of the nature scattering techniques will be up Friday and Monday.
I will upload the project files shortly after they are all up!

Part one of my series around nature scatter techniques and my workflow around getting predictable and consistent results when scattering large amounts of foliage.
We are of course using C4D & Octane, with Octane scatter. I dabble between Forester and Megascans although the results if worked at enough can more often than not become indistuingishable.
When I have uploaded all the parts to this series I will upload the project files which include both variations.
Ligh...

I have not compiled the scene with assets so you will still have to download the megascan on your end from the tutorial.

Quick tutorial going over why I put noise on every Megascan or texture in general.
This helps a lot in creating a flattering look especially with rock textures (wouldn't recommend this with wood etc lol)

Hello everyone, in this tutorial I show some insights into my workflow when approaching lighting products and how I balance different aspects of the scene to make sure everything is balanced.
We look at what are the most vital compononents in allowing our lighting to be strong and what also provides foundation for us to light effectively. Enjoy.

Part 1 in a series of FLIP tutorials I will be doing in X-Particles. Some cool stuff in this one!
Please remember the project file doesn't have the cache so bring down the particle amount and be wary of the voxel size being low.

I have had to use this method on 3 different commercial projects now and it has saved my ass. It's absolutely something that is already ingrained in our workflow, but leaning into it entirely has saved my ass from noise countless times, hopes this helps.
Here are some studio HDRI's I bought to mitigate noise in my scenes - https://acms.gumroad.com/l/studiohdri?layout=profile
