Sailor Moon Rescued - Completed

This super cute piece is finally done and ready for viewing!  Tuxedo Mask carries a tied and gagged Sailor Moon to safety (after she was chloroformed and kidnapped of course ^___^).

Wonder Woman Gassed To Sleep - Completed

Sailor Moon episode 15 tribute - completed

This piece went through a ton of revisions.  First, I tried to set it at night time.  I felt it was too dark, so I shifted it to daytime.  Then I realized the background perspective was off, so I redrew that.  The final piece still has perspective issues, but I'm done thinking about it!

Sailor Moon Episode 15 - Coloring Progress

Here's a progress update on the Sailor Mercury and Sailor Moon peril piece.  In my first iteration, I drew the scene taking place at night.  I had the villain gagging Mercury with the vines.

Sailor Moon Episode 15 Tribute - Line Art

Hey Patrons, time for the final piece of February.   I decided to draw something I've wanted to do for a while: a scene based on Sailor Moon episode 15.  There's some neat peril action with Sailor Mercury and Sailor Moon when they are fighting the villain.   The villain uses vines to ensnare Mercury.  It's a pretty good scene!

Black Cat Chloroformed - Complete

Hey Patrons!  Here's the completed Black Cat chloroformed piece.  The final piece contains some adjustments.  I went back and forth, and ultimately decided it looks better flipped horizontally.  The background has more detail, including webbing stuck to the roof, and a chloro bottle on the floor.  Clouds in the background make it interesting.

I'm glad I can finally add a good Black Chloroforming to my collection.  Enjoy!

I'm working on adding a more interesting background.  It's daytime and they are on a city rooftop.  The final piece should look pretty good!

Zatanna and Nurse Harley Peril - Line Art

Hey Patrons!  I wanted to show off a piece I have in store for February.  Thank you for your continued support.

I'm revisiting Zatanna again.  Just, can't really get enough of her I guess!  This was inspired after I saw a picture of Harley Quinn dressed up as a sexy nurse.   So I decided to have Zatanna get captured in a hospital setting, with Harley Quinn bringing an anesthesia mask towards Zatanna's face.

Samus Aran Unconscious - Completed

Here's the completed piece: Samus Aran in a stasis pod.  I think this turned out great!

This piece required me to practice my lighting skills.  The light is supposed to come from the top of the pod, so that's where it's brightest.  

I also had to figure out how to make it look like she's in liquid.  That's where the bubbles come in.  I also made her hair more 'floaty'.

I think I've really upped my game with digital colorin...

Here's another piece for this month.  Going back to the video game suggestions thread, one of them was for Samus Aran (from the game Metroid Prime) unconscious in a stasis pod.  Did some thinking, and came up with the above drawing.

It's my first time drawing a character in a stasis pod.  If this works out well, I may use the idea for future characters!

Tifa Lockhart Chloroformed - Complete

Here's the completed drawing of Tifa Lockhart getting chloroformed.  

• I like how the pose turned out.  Wasn't sure if I could get a double team chloro scene to work, but I think it looks fine.
• Tried my hand at some background perspective.  I looked at images of laboratory hallways for reference.
• The overall piece is continuing a theme I'm forcing myself to follow: drawings need better action and storytelling.

Fire Emblem - Lyn Bound and Gagged [Revised]

So remember that Fire Emblem drawing I made a few months back?  The one where Lyn is bound and gagged against a plain white background?  Yeah, I decided to revise it.

First, we needed to fix her facial expression.  She looked too content in the old version, so I made her look more worried.  

Then I decided to add a simple background.  Nothing fancy, just some wood, stone and shadows.

Batgirl Chloroformed - Completed

Here you go Patrons!  A beautiful rendition of a scene I had on my list: Batgirl getting chloroformed by Black Mask.  I checked, and this is my first Batgirl chloro drawing since November 2014.  That piece some of you may know, features Batgirl getting chloroformed in her 1966 TV costume.  I'll miss Yvonne Craig.

I got a suggestion for Tifa Lockhart as a video game character I could draw.  I did some quick googling for Final Fantasy information, as I am not an expert on the game.  

I learn about "The Turks" and think to myself, "...sure that could work."

Batgirl Chloroformed - Coloring Sneak Peek

My first art of 2019 is underway.  Batgirl has the honors, and in this drawing she's been captured by the insidious villain Black Mask.  How will she escape her predicament this time?

Coloring a piece of line art for me is becoming very straightforward now.  It's all muscle memory.  You lay down base colors, start to add shading, add highlights and then add details.  It's a process that I can finish in just a few hour...

Nier Automata - Completed

Wishing you a Happy New Year, Patrons!  This will be my final post of 2018.  

The Nier Automata piece is now finished.  Overall, this was quite a challenging piece to draw.  Getting the 2B's skirt right took a lot of tries.  The pattern on her chest took me a while, and I still don't think it's right.  I like how 2B's hair and facial expression turned out.  If I can get side profiles to look this nice, I'll do them more often.
