Was inking the next page of Cookies last night. Decided I really didn't like two of the panels so, i was going to re-draw them tonight. So, I decided to do a test of my setup for an upcoming stream. And someone magically showed up. Having a bad art night so, I thought I'd do a color study of one of the three 8.5x11 pieces I drew over my vacation. I hand-inked this one and plan on rendering it with colored pencils soon. This is a color test.

This new tablet feels WAY different. Hard to get the feel for the pen. I'd go back but, the larger drawing area is WAY too seductive to give up. I'm getting close to feeling comfortable with it.

This is to fix a problem only I noticed.
Lord and Lady Leverhulme were dressed in 1950s clothing while, eleven years later, Amaryllis was dressed in late Victorian garb. This happened because I found pics of that dress and was obsessed with drawing it.
So, here's Amaryllis in a 50s outfit that is a mix of three outfits I found. I love doing the patters, though it feels a bit... cheaty.

I was doing a DEEEEEEEEP clean of my studio this week; tore up the carpet and everything (FYI tearing up carpet laid in 1970 is... gross. Not moldy but, dusty. Decades of dust. A literal half-pound of dust under the carpet. Eww).
