In this video I finally start to build the "abstract-cloth" setup. It´s a bit slow/long this time (44minutes), bcause I test different settings and just take my time haha. 

In the next part I will make this simulation more complex and we will add different layers of additional animation.

I was a little bit unprecise with the headline last time. So the thing, why I wasn't able to share new stuff the last days is because I have Corona (I called it 'a cold' because I didn't knew at the moment, that it's actually Corona).

My quarantaine ends hopefully on wednesday or at least by the end of the week and sadly right now I don't have access to my worksspace/pc until quarantaine ends.

So don't worry. I'm pretty sure, that I will be back this week:-)....

This is Part 1 of the Bonus Lesson.

Trying to get more specific with the cloth simulation parameters, especially the Thickness parameter of the cloth engine.

SOFTBODY Simulations in Cinema 4D 2023 Projectfiles

Hi Friends,

I totally forgot to share my two projectfiles for the "Softbody Ring".

The Simulation Settings for Setup1 could maybe be a little bit higher, because the collisions are not 100% perfect. But most of the simulation is pretty clean.

Setup2 is a bit more complex with more moving elements, and I think the simulation  is more stable/clean overall.
