Enthusiast Training continues soon with new Modeling Tricks!

Hi Patrons,

I think it is time to dive deeper into Fusion360´s hardsurface modeling tools and strengthen our modeling skills with a shape that is just slightly more complex. You will see, this stuff is super easy and fun to do. As I already said: Fusion360 is perfect to expand your Cinema 4D skillset and use both in conjunction. This new lesson will be there really soon;-).

this is the scenefile for the water bowls. I have to say: Maybe I accidently moved the bowls a bit and now... the water doesn´t flow perfectly like in the video example. Nevertheless... I hope it will still be useful for some of you.

Softbody Cages for the TENET tutorial

Hi Enthusiasts, 

These cages can be quite useful, if you want to start instantly without building your own cages. Of course, I can´t provide you with the highpoly models I bought for a small amount of money. But: They are not that expensive at poliigon.com and I just think, these models are awesome. No advertisement here (I really think these are great assets).

Of course, feel free to use your own models instead, if this is not the right asset for your project;-)

In the upcoming Tutorial Enthusiast Softbody Training Part3 we will combine softbody dynamics with inverted time to achieve something really beautiful. Sounds crazy just like the movie plot;-) But I will keep it simple and easy to understand.

I have something special for you this week

thank you so much for joining me on this little adventure! This bonfire is getting bigger and bigger, shiny and powerful. We grow together as artists and learn fascinating stuff, what can be better? I never felt so motivated to learn, so I can share it with you guys.

Do you need some Lowpoly Cages for Soft Body Simulations?

There you go! I hand-modeled different armchairs and this is the first package of assets.

These 2 armchairs  are lowpoly cages for high poly assets and come with different poly amounts. Simple rules apply to soft bodies: The less polys the cage, the faster the sim. The more polys the cage, the more precise the simulation.

The high poly versions I bought on poliigon.com (just search for mango and moroso). I am not intending to make advertisement for them, it´s just, sometimes...
