So I took most of this week off, as you noticed, after finishing all those FOA's. So have another FOA, I guess! I thought of this one during last week's downtime and just wanted to do it. A new look for the Malefactor and the Agitator.

I thought it'd be nice to do nothing the rest of December, but that's just not how I work. I just played bad games and disliked my choices in life. But I guess a break is...

And that's that on that! And with this, my current FOA streak comes to a pause. All these past strips should keep me updated on CK til the end of January which gives me enough breathing room to enjoy my winter sojourn back to Oklahoma to see my family. As long as nothing needs fixing.

But I still got two weeks to kill before I leave, so I might as well start on that last chapter on Pinocchio, huh?

merch doodles 12-5-2021

I'm working ahead, thinkin' about the new year and some FOA shirt designs and one HiaGB shirt that might be fun. First two came to me earlier today. I want to let them simmer and make them better and see what else comes out of the zone. If you got any ideas of designs, types of merch, etc you'd like to see, please let me know. EDIT: wanted to change a lot about how this came out as soon as I posted it. was using gradients too much. not enough black in the strip. Didn't sit well with me, so I went back in and just fill tooled and erased. feel better about it now.

Chapter 36 is the final one, folks. And it's comin' in at 31 pages long. It all ends there. Stay tuned for the rest. Still need to get ahead of myself on FOA before my xmas trip back home.

I'll put these last several chapters finally on the website on wednesday for everyone else to read and easier access.

Finally remembered the Candystand mini golf flash game I used to play on my junior high school's computers in time to make this comic. Just wringing out the end of this year with some soft balls.

Weird obsession with baby birds! They're wild beings. Anyway, I wanted to bring these boys back into the fold after "Me & You" sort of fizzled out. There's plenty more room to have fun with them. Just an introduction with Prissy and now more fun can be had.

I woke up at 5am and came up with a better ending for this bit, so here it is. Bit's over! Onto something else. Something more winter themed, I guess, since I'm ahead all the way into December for CK here.

Left out of these pages from the book is a long, LONG, expository bit from Pinocchio catching his dad and the reader up on what just happened to him in the story since they last saw each other. Edited for brevity, let's just say A LOT happened. Read the manga.

unused comic - "food"

a rejected comic for da Nib. The theming was "food", so I made a comic about a guy eating KFC and deciding to upsell regular fried chicken on a decadent boutique website.

I only post it to show you the process, warts and all. if it don't work, toss it and move on! learn a lesson from it and don't ruminate on the "what-coulda". You'd just be wasting your own time. Maybe the concept can be recycled into something else, but, eh, I got other things to do!
