I'm already thumbnailing chapter 29, which is even longer with more shenanigans! Will this boy stop getting into shenanigans??? Answer: yes. But not in the next chapter.

The Horselady Files (final wraparound cover)

heres da pretty much final (??) work up for the horselady files sketchbook cover and backcover.  maybe some slight editing now that I'm looking at this name kinda close to the edge. A simple fix.

One of the extras and possible only stretch-goal for the Hiagb Book KS would be a separate 32 or so paged sketchbook, detailing work done for Crange's design and any other elements from the comic I did in several different of my personal sketchbooks dating back to at least 2014? Just an extra sketchbook section that I would have included in the original book, if it wasn't already 444 pages long.

Called 'the Horselady Files,' as Crange's canonically full name is Faustus Crange Horselady....

Hey gang! S'been a bit! I've been doing better and have gone to some occupational therapy recently, where I received medicinal putty to squeeze and some stretches to strunch. The doctors I've seen believe this is really all I need to do, along with still resting a little, but I've felt okay enough to attempt to do a bit of work. took a go at drawing digitally again just to see how to felt. Stiff, but I managed to get one out (PUN INTENDED). Had this one half in the chamber from a sketch before the sabbatical. still taking it slow and have some occupational therapy scheduled for next week.

That's a dried up Writer's Block from my old, old autobio strip Horribleville up there, and the anime club con picture Mort kept is on the other side covered in a spider's web.

Hello! S'been a while. Might be a while longer as well. I am struggling with more hand pain that could be the onset of something worse. Even typing this kind of sucks, but I should at least let you know what's up. I'm going to go visit family next week and will probably just take it easy for the next month or so. Pinocchio, Fuck-Off, and even the HiaGB book will just have to wait, which makes me feel a bit worthless. So it goes.

HiaGB book cover (pretty much final)

cleaned up the linework and color, took more time to draw and replicate the text look reminiscent of the parental advisory sticker. One of the fonts was pretty expensive to buy a license for, so just for the book's logo, I drew it. Underneath it, where Crange's mouth would be, I drew a bunch of straight lines that replicate what a butt hole looks like if Kurt Vonnegut drew it.

And the number in the second one connects to They Might Be Giants' dial-a-song service. I checked, it just plays a song from their latest album over the phone. That's a pretty good time, right?

I got some ideas for some Fuck-Off™ merch and I'm trying to put them together today! The framed picture of Death would be a shirt, and a poster for "FUCK READING" from this one (also would have an option for a censored version). Another one that I wasn't able to finish properly today was a "BLESS YOUR OWN MESS" tote bag. Time to see if Tote Bags are a thing people are into, cus I kinda am!

Things are going better since we last talked! I'm still getting the HiaGB book laid out, making sure the pages have enough space to breathe and are cut off at the right parts of the image. Lots of pages go full off the edges, so gotta give it a twice look over to make sure. Pinocchio is, unfortunately, staying in the dugout and giving Crange the side-eye while I work on that and still keep up with these F-Offs, but he'll be back into play shortly.
