A comic they didn't want to pay me for. So here it is anyway.

The lettering under the panels is a new font I had someone make out of my lettering with a different pen style. It's good! I'm using it sparingly and letting it sink in. I still think the old font is gonna stick around for most dialogue balloons in comics, but I'm letting this new boy feel himself out.

I've been getting the HiaGB book prepared! I'm ready to just kickstart this mother on our own, and the book right now comes in at a hefty 444 pages. That's just the main comics plus some interstitial drawings I'm doing. I want to include a separate extras book too, but I'm getting a little ahead of myself. The ball is rolling! Yowza!!

Cleaned up F-Offs (6 total)

Here we go. After a weekend away and some time to start exercising those hands and arms, I'm back at it again and just being more careful with my lines and art and the hands that make them. Here's the finished versions from those fuck-offs earlier, minus the D&D one and the dabbing one. Those felt off and I decided to dump them instead of worrying over it.

4 More Sketchy F-offs™

Here's four more I did in tandem with the last batch.

It might be slow goings around here. I've been experiencing wrist strains to the point of worrying that I'm developing some kind of "repetitive stress injury" so I've been just letting my hands rest and attempting some drawing a little bit at a time a day. I'm seeing a doctor today, but rest and hand exercises have made a slight difference so far. Who knows. The doctor might, which is why I'm going to one.

today I sketched out a bunch of 'fuck-offs™' that I had building up. I'll admit the "dnd" one was mostly for that chant I thought up. Not sure how I feel about it as a whole, but that's part of the comic I want to embrace: telling those unsure thoughts to fuck off and do it anyway then fuck off and do some more. a give-and-take.

here's some wack shots of the next pinocchio chapter. I've been trying to thumbnail properly, which means loosey-goosey and dumber than usual. I have a tendency to get caught up just Drawing anyway, so I gotta remember to keep it small and aww(ful). See if you can follow along!

hiagb 'Beer King' koozies & coasters concept

in a new "why not" attempt at merch, I'm taking the arc "Crange Leaves Himself" and making it into stuff that Topatoco can print on demand in-house. Specifically koozies (sleeves you put drinking cans into) and coasters (circles you put cans on). The back of the Koozie (and possibly coaster?) will have a flip side with Mind-Crange judging on and Body-Crange's butt.

I'd like to do another shirt for HiaGB while the time is still ...
