Pinocchio goes to school!!!!!!!! It doesn't last that long in terms of pages, but the time in the book moves at quite a grip. Maybe 5 or 6 months at least, since Pinocchio ran off to School Originally from Gepetto's.

Not a huge fan of the sanctimonious tone of the fairy, which just pushes me to make this whole thing more cartoonish and weird to offset the tut-tutting. I want to make an anti-fairy tale for children.

playing around with more clip art studio lines and background stuff. It's nice to just do simple black and white line art again. Coloring is a whole 'nother head game that's fun, but just telling the story in white and black is sometimes all I need.

Dang has it been a while, huh? Well, welcome back if you stuck around during the rather empty month of February. It took some teeth-pulling to get back into the habit of doing anything without a set and public deadline (kind of like an update schedule on a webcomic, for example) but I'm geared up to kill that kind of thinking from the inside and get something out of me. Whether it be Pinocchio or Fuck-Off™ or BACK (which is still on a schedule). Time to get back in the saddle.

"crange makes a friend" sketches

Here's some sketches when coming up with looks for the Being and the Pinkertons in "Crange makes a Friend." Also the look of Crange outside of time with his mind blown.

It might be quiet for a while longer around here. In about a week, I'm going to travel back home to see family and just still not worry about when the next page of anything goes up (save for BACK, but I can write on the road).

I've finished coloring and exporting the last pages. save for any spelling errors or other fixes, the whole thing's done. It's wild to, again, be on this precipice of change. I know what's next, but I also just wanna... do nothin' at all. For a bit. For a while.

I'll be posting two more chunks of the final pages in the next two days and that'll be that. I kinda want to get it on the site sooner than later, so I might just do that next friday (feb 1st).

I had to redraw the Pinkertons' (unofficial name of the arms and legs people) heads to include more eyes, cus I had forgotten that you could see an outline of them during the end of the Crazy Castle arc. They're more bumpy of an outline in that page, but I really didn't think I'd be showing them off after their limbs fell into the grinder.

I've got 27 pages laid out and penciled, 21 of them inked with 6 to go.

I want to get a basic line-art finished of the ending to send to the publisher who might want to tackle publishing this. I have no big hopes, but I'm going to try.

It may seem I go by rather fast if you notice the time stamps, but there are sparse backgrounds in these panels and a lot of coloring is going to have to to make up for that (save for the first 7 pages (you'll see) ).

I've already laid out the entire final sequence as two last traditional arcs. It's coming in at about 27 pages. Realistically, I can see this being finished and done probably by its 4th anniversary on April 1st (really). Which is wild. Cus I planned for this to be a 3 year ordeal, I was very adamant to myself about it starting this project. You can't plan for everything! I guess!!
