I went slightly overboard on this one, as it is also doing double-duty as this year's Halloween costume image. The request was for Twinkle dressed as Fozzie Bear, and Cobalt in something theme complimentary.

The third episode in this little tale of debauchery. And yes, this time I went straight to color, because Samadhir, whose request this is, upped his pledge to the full color level.
Wonder what's gonna happen next.

Many apologies for the pun in the title of this one. The little voices in my head are still shouting at each other about it.

For Kithpine, who wanted a nice portrait of a certain background character from a recent episode of Star VS The Forces Of Evil.
I have no idea what the character's name really is, as I don't think it's ever actually mentioned in the episode. In my own headcanon, she's called Spiny Norma, because I watch far too much Monty Python.
This was supposed to be B&W, but I threw some color on it and did a quickie backdrop to amuse myself.
And finished up just this very second, here's the final request image for the month.
For Scottykat, who wanted some boob luvin' from a Foozle.
I spent so much time trying to figure out how to greytone him in B&W, but finally just gave up and did it as a flat greyscale. Hope that suits everybody.

Never drawn a 'possum before. Hope I did okay with her.

I made a slight mistake on this one though. After getting about 2/3 of the way thru inking it, I realized I'd missed that he wanted to be drawn as female in this one, not male. But after consulting with Stardust about it, I was told to go ahead and keep going. So I did. And here it is.

A piece of reference I created for my own use, that I thought some of you might find interesting. These are not hard rules, but more of a general guideline:
They don't always use all three types of lights.
Sometimes they opt for two lights, with the accent light and hair light duties performed by the same light.
On sets with built-in overhead lighting, the additional hair light is sometimes omitted, as there is already substantial light from above.

I've been watching Star Trek TNG, now for the first time in 1080 Blu-Ray High Def. And now that the picture's not all muddy and full of TV static, I started to notice things. Like how the first season bridge had wood paneling on the walls, that the medical bay was actually just the briefing room set with the windows covered up in paper, and mostly how all the lighting is set up on the actors. So this started off as me fiddling around with some TNG style light setups.

I'm gonna be posting the first of the Patron images for this month later today, but first I thought I'd post a couple of things that I left running in the render queue overnight.
I discovered that if you animate a figure in Poser, and then duplicate that figure, it gets duplicated with all of its animation moves intact... Making it easy to do lines of dancing bears shaking their stuff.
For the full effect, put on a Grateful Dead album in the background and light some incense...
