Foozle Warm Ups

Sometimes, before I start work on Evil Twin for the week, I do some warm-up sketches. More often than not these end up as mere throwaways - a hand pose, or a butt, or just a rough set of pose bubbles.... but every once in a while one comes out good enough to clean up a bit, and set aside for future use. Here are three such examples.

Yes, they usually end up being foozles if they get cleaned up this far.

Here's the latest Patreon commission, for October.

The brief for this one was: "Since Boink is at least conventionally organized enough to send ambassadors places, I presume they must have some sort of military. Even if it's just a system defense force to police things locally.

3 Of A Kind

I'm still cranking along on Alone Time. The next couple pages, as you might expect, feature a bunch of crowd scenes. And those tend to take a lot of time, so it's been slow going.

In the interim, I thought you folks might like a close-up peek at part of the art for the first panel of the next page. I'm uploading it at the full size res of 1271 X 715 (It's cropped to just the interesting bit) which is under the 1280 limit Patreon seems to impose. Hopefully they won't resize it.

It seems that these bot accounts have hit pretty much everyone that I

New Standing Figure

Patreon seems to have changed the way they handle HTML, so I've done a new standing figure for the front page, and uploaded it here, so I can have the IMG tag point directly to it.

Pledge Rewards Updated

I've gone ahead and done it.

$10 pledges now get to request a rough sketch each month (limited to 3)

$15 pledges get to request an inked image (limited to 2)

$20 pledges get to request an inked and flat-colored piece (limited to 2)

$40 pledges get to request a full digital color piece with one of my digital background paintings. (limited to 1 - jump on it while you can)

Thinking of adding rewards

After reviewing the rewards offered on a few other artist's Patreon pages, I'm starting to think that the rewards I've been offering aren't so hot, which is probably why most of you have settled into the $5 and lower tiers.

$10 for PSD files isn't much enticement, especially when I haven't posted that many PSD files to begin with.

So I'm thinking of offering some additional enticements.

Patronage Trimmed

As the Patreon system has told me that all pledges for this month have been collected, I've just gone through and removed all the DECLINED accounts.

Unfortunately, it appears that someone out there has written a bot program, programmed to manufacture Patreon accounts using fake credit card info, and make phony pledges with them for the purposes of scraping art of the online galleries here - and I had rather a lot of these.

All of my $10 pledges were fake.

Declined Accounts

Hiya folks! Hope you enjoy the latest page of Alone Time.

I currently show four of you folks out there redlisted as DECLINED accounts. What this means, is that although these accounts are pledged, something got messed up somewhere and payments haven't gone though.

I'm going to wait until after the month rolls over and pledges get charged, to see if these four accounts have gotten this fixed, before I go removing anyone from the group.
