GMJoE Uptate 40: It all comes together

A sample compilation of all the animations I've done so far (except for the Anubis mummy sequence)
The basic gameplay.  Whip clothes off of slave, and fire mummygun at him.  He'll block the tile he's on while the boy is being wrapped up, so make sure no other slaves get by you until he's done!

The image preview above is small and low framerate; these are the limitations of the animated GIF.

I added the actual whip to the Attack1 animation, but before I did that I completely re-did the animation so that there would be ease in / ease out on his motion, to make it a little smoother and a little snappier in the middle.

GMJoE Uptate 35: Carry Animation Afnet

Well this one turned out to be a little different from the rest.  First, since he is leaning over a bit to compensate for the weight, his head is a little lower in frame and at an angle so I had to completely re-do his headdress.  Which meant pushing around all of those stripes for 21 frames.

Fortunately, I recently downloaded DAIN app, an AI frame interpolator that smooths things out.  And it kinda worked!  I only had to do 11 frames at 10 FPS and DAIN app upscaled ...

Luckily with this one I was able to re-use the sprites for the loincloth shendyt and cock since they still sync up with this (offset by 3 frames)

NOTE:  The reason why the clothing flashes green and red while fading out is because it is an artifact of the way I set up the compositing..  It would have been more work to remove the effect rather than leave it in.

Note:  The shendyt respawning was meant to be a fade-in, but because of the way I had it set up in the video editor, any kind of fade made the colors go crazy.  Shouldn't be a problem in the final game, depending on how things work
