So, you might have noticed that I’m once again a bit behind with updates. Part of the reason is that I had a creative/writer’s block. I’ll address that in more detail later, but I don’t want to dwell on it too much since it could be a bit triggering for some people.

I always underestimate how long it takes me to make comic page like this. On average, it takes me between half a day and two days. Well, on Saturday I had already finished about 75% of it, but I had to start over because I realized I had used a format that was way too small, and not everything fit into these three double pages.

Some thoughts:
I’ve been reflecting on why I’ve felt unsatisfied with the upcoming pages I was working on, and it really comes down to pacing. The overall story feels a bit too slow since they haven’t even met the Master yet. At the same time, Alex’s scenes feel a little rushed in comparison.

Because of that, I’ve decided to redo the next pages. I post them when they're done, that won't take too long.

As already mentioned, I have uploaded all pages again in the other update, in which I have corrected a few errors that bothered me personally. 

Once again a mirror scene. I don't know why, but I always find these scenes special. Maybe because the AI just can't get the image and mirror image to match on it's own?

This isn’t exactly a “How It’s Made” post like I said, but I hope it still offers a bit of insight. Since I often mention redoing pages, I wanted to share one that was nearly finished but ultimately didn’t make the cut.

Looking at the page, I think it’s pretty clear why it didn’t work. It's just too random.

Sorry for the delay and radio silence. Honestly, I'm a bit embarrassed myself, especially since I said there'd be more this month. But I really needed this week off. I wasn't feeling so well, actually I felt creatively drained. In any case, things are finally moving forward again. I'm already working on the next pages! They should take to long anymore, now that the plot moves forward.

Happy Easter

There will be no update this week for 2 reasons. On the one hand I don't have the time because of easter, on the other hand the poll is at a deadlock. So if you haven't voted yet, you still have a chance. 

But next week there will be the usual update and a shorter comic. A hero wants to face the Demon Queen but is defeated. As submission he is forced by her to put on a latex skin suit.
