It's been a little while since I've posted some progress on the Singularity Deck 3.0 artwork, so I wanted to show off where things are currently at.
I've added the latest artwork to the Multideck Maker -> Deck Components - >Singularity Deck 3.0 folder, in case anyone wanted to mess around with any of it. Everything is still a work in progress.
My goal is to eventually have around 20 sets of court card artwork (J, Q, K). My thinking is that gives 12 for the main suits, 1 for ...

An issue with Singularity Boxes is that once the lid is on they can be a bit of a black box in terms of knowing what is contained.
If you print them in black PLA, they can literally and figuratively be a black box of mystery:

What secrets do you hold!?!?
Spurred on by a follower on Twitter I decided to try to brainstorm a few solutions. Also in case you didn't...

Hi all!
Have you ever wanted to design your very own suit icon? As a thank you to long-term patrons, I'm inviting folks who have been a patron for at least 6 months to design their own custom icon for the Multideck Maker project. If you haven't reached the 6 month mark, feel free to work on your idea and then send it to me when you hit 6 months.
To get started download the attached PDF or grab it from the drive (Multideck Maker -> Design Your Own Icon -> Multideck Make...

As always thanks for your support!

I recently received even more Looney Pyramids from their latest Kickstarter, so I wanted to show off using two Pyramid Holders in a Medium Singularity Box.
I also modified the specialized pyramid lid and accessory tray to fit the medium box.

A little while back Ess suggested making a storage tray for Roxley's Iron Clays (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgameaccessory/233281/iron-clays) that would fit into the Singularity Boxes. I don't actually have any Iron Clays, but I am eagerly awaiting their next Kickstarter. Regardless, I thought it was a cool idea and used it as an opportunity to create a few different types of inserts tha...

Hi all,
I added two new Singularity Boxes and their lids to the drive. By adding the large and extra-large sizes, Singularity Boxes now fully encompass all the original Bitbox sizes and then some.
A quick word of caution: my printer is not large enough to accommodate these boxes, so I have not been able to test print them, however I don't foresee any issues. If anyone encounters any problems, let me know and I can modify the design.

Hi all!
I'm super excited for this update to the Multideck Maker project.
As part of reworking the court card artwork for greater consistency, I wanted to create swappable item artwork that would allow each item to pair with any court card. Say for example you wanted the king of diamonds to be holding a spear, but wanted the queen to hold a sword, with this updated artwork, it's just a m...

The biggest thing I learned while designing the Singularity Deck is that there is no perfect set of playing cards. Unsurprisingly, this is because everyone has a different idea of what makes an ideal set. The best evidence for this is a geeklist I posted a little while back that shows just how many times people have reinvented the playing card: https://boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/252876/play...
