Status Update

Hey Everyone!

I am very pleased to say, all removed content has been restored to the game!

Now there was a lot of fucking around with all of this, so I am not as far along as I would like to be. Additionally, the in game walkthrough has forced me to really tidy up a lot of the code so the game plays smoothly. Stuff like redundant choices, multi level scenes, skippable repeated scenes have all been looked at. The result is a much cleaner player experience. This is the last bit of polish on the game.

And of course, I can't help but add in new scenes when I am inspired to do so. So there are a few more scenes going in that I hadn't planned on. But they are very fun. Just some stuff to balance out a few of the characters.

This update will contain a lot of QOL but also quite a bit of new content. It is still planned to be the final Phase 1 update, but I just want to make sure it's actually in a finished state when I'm done.

I won't be releasing in April, but I will update the release window as soon as I can. For now, I have enough content to make weekly teaser posts until release. And I will make some other posts for input on Phase 2, so if you want a say in what happens next, stay tuned!

Player Feedback: I Have Solved it!

Hey!

So, after reading the polls, comments, replaying the Melvin prom, I decided I was not happy with it.

I took to the shower principle and started coding an in game, adaptive player walkthrough/guide for the game (huge feature, is looking sweet so far). I think this distracted me just enough, that the new idea came to me.

I don't want to spoil or oversell, but here are the concerns I heard from you guys, that I think the new idea will address:

• Melvin got with the girls too easily, there was not enough build up

• Melvin wasn't evil, there wasn't as much motivation to go back in time

• Concerns the outfits would be cut/there was not motivation or reason to have them

• MC was too weak and sad (even for his standards)

• The girl's actions and dialogue were out of character hooking up with Melvin

• Betraying the fundamental themes of the game surrounding the honest path vs cheating and short cuts

Point of this post is just to let you know, I have heard you, and I'm gonna work on it. Also, I don't want to hear the classic "ThIs WiLl CuT iNtO dEv TiMe!" Because I work more on this game then I ever had at any job, and if this doesn't get fixed, I wouldn't be working on anything else anyway :P

Status Update

Hey Everyone,

I wanted to let you guys know what I have been working on, and my plans for this month.

Phase 1:

As close as Phase 1 is to being done, it is not quite finished yet. There are some scenes to add, coding errors to fix, and gameplay elements to balance. There is also the matter of the removed content, which I have put on the back burner for now, while I decide the best course of action for that. All of that is a pretty full workload for one Llamamann.

The big new feature for Phase 1 is an integrated walkthrough/player help system, which I currently have up and running. It is a huge help to making the game accessible, whether that means following the hints as a new player, or tracking down your last missing scene.

There are a handful of scenes going in as well, to balance the game and make sure Phase 1 is a complete, standalone experience.

Phase 2:

Of course, Phase 2 is constantly on my mind. Planning systems, improvements, and the path forward for Sexbot is no small task. After almost three years of working on the first game, there are a number of areas I feel I can improve upon. I have started making some framework for the new game, but I feel the focus needs to remain on finishing Phase 1.

Voting:

With all of that in mind, I am left with a voting issue; there are no scenes to vote into Phase 1, and there is no Phase 2 game to deliver scenes voted into Phase 2. While I could do voting on Blackjack, or other content, it would still divert my focus from what needs to get done. So I have decided to postpone the scene voting until the next update is complete. Then move ahead with Phase 2.

There is a lot to look forward to, and I am moving towards to goal, one day at a time. All of your support is greatly appreciated. I'll start up with the teaser images for this next update soon.

*Patch allows you to see the Melvin and Ashley study scene without the Ashley Corruption stat that was removed in the last version. I've attached a .rpy file that needs to go into your 'game' folder and overwrite when asked.

Hi Everyone,

This is the big Phase 1 Finale!

As much as I have previously described this update as the beginning of Phase 2, after making it, it feels a lot more like the conclusion to Phase 1. It really provides a solid ending to the narrative we have seen so far, but also sets up what is to come (and there is lots more left).

I strongly urge players not to skip the dialogue in this one. The narrative scenes are the bulk of this update, and if you skip through it will be over before you know it. Two months to make, two minutes to skip holding Tab. Also, it's pretty cool, so check it out :P

After planning this portion of the story for about two years, I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I hope you enjoy the update, please feel free to post feedback here and in discord, but keep all discord posts (including bug reports) to the #beta-testing channel, and avoid spoilers for others.

Changes to Content:

What a roller coaster of an update. I have never made so many changes between a beta test and official release, as I have with this one. I did quite a bit of testing, but if there are bugs, please report them on discord.

I have reintroduced two Emily corruption scenes in a new context. I will be posting a feedback poll after release so you can tell me what you think about the new direction. The goal is to reintroduce all corruption scenes in this new format.

• For new game: Side character loops can only be continued when the next side character is unlocked (i.e. Bailey can only be invited to a movie, once Ashley has been introduced)

• Bailey's call to ask her to a movie has been removed (confused things, and had no unique images)

• Halloween triggers 5 loops after XXXmas (instead of loop 10)

Status Update

Hi Everyone!

I have been working almost continuously on a solution for the removed content since last Friday. And I have come up with a new context to use the post prom scenes.

Tomorrow I will release the update for all Members, with the reintroduction of Emily's post prom scene in the new format. It will just be the one scene for now, as a pilot, to see if this is the way forward. Mostly, I want to hear what you think about it.

I will also post a player feedback poll that I strongly encourage you to weigh in on. As player feedback has always played a big part in the development of Sexbot.

Sexbot 1.4 - Early Access Delay

I have pulled Sexbot 1.4 to accommodate the change in community guidelines from Patreon. They made this change without giving me any notice, whatsoever.

I will retool the game to align with there new rules and post it when it is ready.

Sexbot 1.4 - Progress Update

Hey everyone!

Work on this update is going well. Everything I have made is coded into game and in a playable state. And it’s looking really good!

But there is still more I want to add so this part of the game is a complete and satisfying playthrough. The focus is on the narrative and what happens between phases 1 and 2. It will be a direct continuation from where we left off after the group prom.  It’s well beyond the scope of what I have done so far, but I took on the most challenging aspects of the content first.

I am currently working to finish off the 3 voted scenes (Emily’s cheer, Ashley’s NTR, and Alexa and Emily’s FUTA scenes). So I will have more teasers for you guys.

Of course I am improving QOL for you as well, with a prom skip feature, and better Alexa prom menus. With everything I’m putting into this one, it will be a March release.

This update is obviously different than what you have seen prior, as I am moving into Phase 2 of the game. It might make the most sense to include these elected scenes into Phase 1, so you can play through them, but I'll have to see how far I get, and how it all works together. Either way, the scenes picked here will be included in the update.

The best thing about this game, is as development continues, I'm not running out of ideas. But opening new possibilities. I'm going to provide a lot of choice this time around. So good luck voting!
