Just a thought, what about having both versions, since you have the older ones made already. They could be the two different stages of corruption. That way everyone who wants one or the other could be happy, while hopefully not creating too much more work for you.

Story wise, I think having the characters voluntarily submit to Melvin instead of being mind-controlled to do so, is more emotionally charged for their corruption status. I think in Phase 2, this will have some impact when corruption is built this way.

Sorry if this ends up being very long or if you have already addressed some of what I'm about to say, but I have some thoughts on this. I think in principle, this type of NTR is better than mind control NTR, and I think you did a very good job with the time you had. That being said, I do agree with David that it felt out of place narratively. Two things bothered me: - The MC goes to prom with Alexa several times and is perfectly happy with it, but once you select the Melvin Prom option, he doesn't even consider it. - There is little to no explanation for why Emily shows up to prom and dances with Melvin, and her having sex with him also kind of comes out of nowhere. If I were to imagine a perfect narrative tie-in for these scenes for me personally it would look something like this: 1. Melvin Prom also requires having Mai unlocked (more on this later). 2. After we select Melvin Prom, we get another selection screen with the girls who have their Melvin Prom unlocked. 3. After selecting a girl, we get a short narrative scene during which the MC tries to ask that girl out to prom. The girl answers along the lines of: "Oh, I already have plans". 4. The MC then decides he will just ask Alexa, but she tells him she has to reboot since Mai tried hacking her for video footage of MC. Alexa can't accompany MC and he is left with no choice but to go to Prom by himself. 5. At prom MC talks to Melvin who taunts MC about Alexa being hacked (he put Mai up to it) and MC being at prom alone. 6. MC notices the previously selected girl come in and dance with Melvin. Turns out her "plans" were being Melvin's prom date. We get a piece of dialogue that insinuates that the previous corruption scenes made the girl subconsciously attracted to Melvin. 7. Having completed her reboot, Alexa enters the scene, and the scene proceeds as it does in the current Emily Melvin scene. *. A cherry on top would be a Melvin Zeta score for each girl that changes some dialogue and their demeanor during their Melvin scenes. Wall of Text over.

I understand the challenges of these changes within the limited time frame, this current approach of integrating significant scenes into a prom experience isn't without it's faults however. Proms are meant to be pivotal segment, this new addition felt hasty. I appreciate the effort given what's been happening, patreon ruined the fun. In my view, this solution feels overly complex for the sake of reintroducing scenes in a lesser experience. This is why I suggested exploring the subscribestar build as an option. While I recognize it may pose difficulties in gaining traction, I'm committed to contributing there if it meant preserving the originals. I'm sure there are others who share the sentiment.

The main reason for making more substantial changes, was to preserve the characters. If i had just removed the eye colour and all of a sudden you had Emily antagonizing MC to watch her hook up with Melvin, that would have been significantly more jarring. I agree there could be more added to an NTR loop. But if that is needed for each character, it becomes a massive undertaking. The idea here is the zeta gained from previous loops is the set up for these scenes. This prom is not meant to be comparable to the MC's proms. MC is the main character, so we follow those proms with a lot more detail. This prom is to show a result of MC giving up. I did not rush Melvin's prom, I made it the way I wanted to make it. There is zero chance of a secret patch. This content will not be continued or distributed in the old format.

I anticipated the new scenes to be minor changes, such as adjusting eye colors for example. I believe this would of been better to stay true to the originals. Regarding what you did here, It felt jarring and quite out of place. I'm not a fond of this. While I'm okay with netorare without the visor, if you're going to include it, it needs more growth and its own animations to blend seamlessly. I understand that you had time constraints in working these adjustments, I personally, am not fond of the direction with all due respect. Melvin's proms should be more if you are going to make them, you should go all out. Perhaps it's own loop? Proms usually have a full loop linked to them. This new prom felt really rushed and underwhelming in comparison to the rest, respectfully. Is there any chance you could create a secret patch to keep the originals intact? Or better yet a separate build exclusive to subscribestar where we can experience those scenes as they were originally intended?
