this was the last month of school for this semester so was naturally pretty busy for me. Apologies for the overall radio silence because of that.

this animation will get done tomorrow :D

[WIP] growth spurts

this is mostly just a test of my mocap software and seeing how to work with it. Very much a different workflow than i'm used to. but I think it can help speed things up.


this is also the last full month I have of school. after this i'll be animating full time. looking to get some longer animations out over the next few months ^^

so since i've got my mocap working relatively well. i'm doing a small animation to get comfortable with it.

I'll be applying these techniques to the larger animations i'm working on ^^

due to most of my models being tops. Reptilligator has volunteered Ram to take all of Unks dick :P

[wip] mocap work

so for this month. I spent most of my time experimenting with VR mocap software. I think this will help a ton in improving animation length and quality.

though naturally their were a bunch of dumb hurdles that slowed things down. As you would expect lol

this is a bunch of the captures I did after things worked a little better and werent just a weird mess of broken limbs.

yea i'm getting mileage out of that earth model lol

so Zoid ((20) E-Zoid (@e_zoid) / Twitter) gave me his dragon model and I got inspired to do a little animation with him. can expect it later this week :3

and update on the animation with Unk. i'm having some issues with the cloth simulation still. but its progressing. should be done soonish

i'm challening myself to spend an hour to make a pic or practice a concept in blender per day.

this one was mostly in experimenting with different sorts of lighting

i'm honestly not super happy with it but its certainly a learning experience
