Because this one is in such an annoying order; I'm not quite as far ahead with footage capture as I was with the last episode unfortunately

I will spend the next few days trying to record all of the in-game stuff (as and when I can) and then I should have a better idea of how many animations / creative things I will have to do for this one

Trying to find the right balance; it's boring if the video is just gameplay footage... but it takes longer to...

Early Access - Episode 9

Here we go. Part 9 finished.

Put a weird amount of effort into this video. I'm in a creative, experimenty mood I guess. No idea how long that'll last. Hopefully that effort has resulted in a great video that people will enjoy rather than everyone just thinking I'm a complete and utter dork lol.

Anywho - Short and sweet post today. I'll probably wait til Saturday to make this video public. I don't wanna feel like I just immediately jumped into writing the next episode.

Here's the next one. Only two more expansions to go! And they're the REALLY GOOD ONES lol.

I enjoyed doing the little animations for this one though. Actually made myself laugh a couple of times. Firstly with the "...But who is the child of light and shadow?" joke. I feel like that needs to become a running gag. Possibly a T shirt.

Also the "Socially Light; Fiscally Void" thing. I hope someone yells at me for that so I can respond with "I'll be sure to let ...

Sometimes I wonder if I would be better off just doing podcast-content lol. I'd be able to pump these out so quickly if I just removed the entire visual part of the process and replaced it with an image and an audio waveform visualiser thing

Here's the next episode. As I said in the last post; it's a bit short. I'm not a miracle worker - I can't make Warlords of Draenor have a better ending than it did lol

Hi folks,

I've been doing lists recently. It really helps when you suffer from grasshopper brain and start to get a bit overwhelmed with larger projects. So yeah - I highly recommend To-Do Lists. Especially if you're a bit on the ADHD / Autistic side.

But anyway: I've got about 5 specific bits / background footage left to capture. Then just the finishing touches like background music and updating the Patron credits. So it should all be done in the next few days.

Here's the next one. Bit shorter than the last two but still somehow just as much of a ball-ache to edit for some reason. The downside of these videos taking so much longer to edit is that, by spending so much time on each one, I kinda hate them by the end of it.

Progress Update

A large chunk of the video is done. It's basically just speech bubbles / text, some more character models, music, crossing the T's, dotting the i's and stuff.

I'm hoping to have it all finished within the next 'few' days. 'Few' meaning maybe 3... or 4. lol

Took the entire week to write and record this one for some reason. Entirely up to you if you want to listen to this or just wait but it's going to take a while to edit.

Pretty sure it's gonna end up being mostly footage from in-game. But I have to capture all of that footage. Which means I need to level both of those alt characters (Horde and Alliance), do both of the Pandaria Max Level Campaign thingies. And capture a whole bunch of Dungeon, Raid AND Scenario foota...

Progress Report

Hey folks,

Started editing the video on Friday. Doing as much as I can everyday until I start to lose the will to live.

I may have bitten off more than I can chew! For anyone that doesn't really understand what the attached image is supposed to be - Tis a screenshot of the entire video timeline in my editing software. So far... I have done the 'first layer' for about 21mins of the 38min video.

Some of that is video (in-game cutscenes / footage / promo cinematics, etc) and...

Early Access - Final Episode

Morning folks,

Tis done! Another series finished. And that makes me a happy Buttress.

I shall spend the next several days leisurely cutting together the SuperCut. It's not hard or anything; just tedious. I have to re-render every episode without the outros and then render them AGAIN in one big video file. And I can't really use my computer for anything else whilst it's doing that.

And then, after all of that, I have to upload it to YouTube. And UK upload speeds are not...

Still need to add the music and a few finishing touches to the final episode. Hopefully it should be finished and up for Early Access on here tomorrow. But here's a little sneak-peak of it. (Maybe a bit spoiler-ish but the book is like... 20 years old so whatevs)
