Dreaming with Elsa now in Renpy

I've started the task of porting all of the Elsaverse to Renpy, and here's the first release.

I probably don't need to tell any of you this, but Dreaming with Elsa was the first game Mortze and I did together. When he approached me and offered to be my new artist, I asked him to send me an image of a clothed woman he felt was pretty. I expected a stock V4 with beachball sized breasts. What I got was Elsa. And the rest is history.

I tested this pretty heavily.  I'm pretty sure...

Elsaverse Transitions Ep6 released

Here's the second to last Episode of Elsaverse Transitions.  As is typical, I'm releasing to higher tier patrons first, and it will unlock for everyone else in around a day.

Some of the things going on in EVT are there to show you what's happening with your favorite characters. Some of this is mostly an excuse to give you sex scenes to enjoy. And some of this is introducing characters and events that will matter in future games. Mostly, though, this is a thank you for supporting us...

CtGwC now in Renpy

Hey folks.  I've converted Coming to Grips with Christine to Renpy and am making it available now.  This distribution has the new renpy version as well as the original HTML version in it (and they share the same image files, so adding the HTML didn't make the download much bigger).

There's no new content in the Renpy version, but it does have the standard Renpy features of unlimited saves and text skipping.  I'm considering this the official version now.

Last week we had an "alternative vision" of what Elsa and Miranda are doing in Switzerland. There are weeks where my opinion of the best caption switches multiple times over the course of it.  And then there are weeks like this one where the first post just drops the mic and nothing else can compare.  I'm talking about Davis Ranney's:

"It looks like they're heading for the small Swiss Alp over there.

That's no Alp."

Awesome...

Elsaverse: Transitions Ep5 released

It's early March, so time for another installment of Elsaverse: Transitions.  I hope you folks are enjoying this brief look into the ongoing lives of the residents of Sangrive.  Some of what you're seeing will lead straight into the next Elsaverse game.  Some of what you're seeing will lead straight into the one after that.  And some of what you're seeing is mostly there to remind all of us what genre these stories are part of...

Last week we learned that a superhero really can take off their glasses, put on a small mask, and be hard to distinguish. That was Elsa, by the way.  Let's go with Daksian's caption:

"This isn't what I expected when you said you wanted me to draw you like those French girls..."

I liked the Titanic refrence.

This week I'm going to release Ep5 of Elsaverse: Transitions. I've also put Ep6 together and handed it off to our localizers. A...

Last week, when Mortze and I were talking about an image for him to do, I suggested something with parachutes. Leave it to Mortze to take the idea and run with it.  I liked, literally, all of the caption suggestions. But as they say in the highlands, there can be only one.  So I'm going with: Lazy Turtle's:

"It was moments like this that made Jason miss normal, boring sex"

What pushed this one over the top for me was that it captured the flavor ...

Elsaverse: Transitions Ep4: Released

It's the second week in February, and that means it's time for another episode of Elsaverse: Transitions.

This series serves a couple of purposes. Mainly, it's to give you something in the "dry" time between major releases. Secondly, it's letting you see what's been going on with some of the characters in the Elsaverse. We've been in galaxies far far away as well as 'verses a bit more rooted in realism (ignoring the fact that Keisha is supernaturally beautiful...), and it's been a while...

Elsaverse: Transitions Ep3 Released

Here's the release of Episode 3 of Elsaverse: Transitions.  This is going out to higher tier patrons now and to the public in about a day.  I hope you folks are enjoying this interim look into the lives of our friends in the Elsaverse while we prepare for what comes next.

Image Quality Test

If you celebrate it, Happy Thanksgiving!

I used my first day off to write something I've been meaning to do for a while. I sometimes see people request uncompressed images in our games, but I'm skeptical that they would actually be able to tell the difference between uncompressed and reasonably compressed images. At the same time, uncompressed images would make the game ten times larger.

So I wrote some code to let you folks test this for yourselves. I've got the images from...

Elsaverse: Transitions Ep1

If you're not aware, Mortze and I are creating an episodic VSS (Visual Short Story, as apposed to a Visual Novel) called "Elsaverse: Transitions."  The goal is to release an episode monthly and give you folks a little bit of a distraction in these continually difficult times.

This is the first episode, and I'm releasing it to $10 patrons now.  It'll go to everyone else in 24 hours.

Last week we had the Elsaverse's Alex in a Supergirl Halloween outfit that really showed off her legs.  The caption I'm going with this week is Marco6661's:

"I am neither for the red nor for the blue. I just love America."

Honestly, this wins more for the message than the applicability to the image, but so be it.

It's been a hard week for everyone in the USA.  Regardless of which side you're on, it's sobering to realize that roughly...

Rain God released

This is a text based short story I wrote as a result of something I said offhand in a weekly a few weeks ago.  When I showed it to Mortze, he offered to do some pictures for it.  I put some heavy constraints on what he could do in those pictures, and, no surprise, he rocked them.

Last week, we had an enticing image of Miranda getting out of a pool. If you haven't figured it out yet, I have a thing for water. Also, among my characters, Miranda is the one that means the most to me. Plus, that suit? It scored very highly on the Miranda scale. Superb work, Mortze.

There were a number of captions that I liked, but the one that edged out the rest for me was Benjamin's

"So, your shorts want to Free Willy..."

Nice job, Benjamin!

Life Changes for Keeley

Today, I'm releasing Mortze's and my next game: Life Changes for Keeley.

Although this is the continuation of a story told over many games, you really don't have to have played any of them to understand and enjoy this one. The story arc in the "Keeley-verse" isn't as integrated as it is in my other major storyline (the "Elsa-verse"). That said, there are a number of subtle and not-so-subtle references to those older games. (And, by "older," I mean it. Some of them have been out f...

This is the last week of the runup to the release of "Life Changes for Keeley," which will go out on Tuesday after I get done with work.

Last week, we had a picture of Keeley in a section of the game called, "Mall Rats." So LB876's caption seemed fitting:

"Hmm. I remember when this shopping mall had everything: A video store, a movie theater, a bar AND a sex shop. Well, times change, I guess."

This week, we have an image of a character from the earl...

We're on a countdown of sorts to the July 14th release of Life Changes for Keeley. Last week we had a nice shot of one of the two protagonists, and I enjoyed frap's caption:

"Like I said, you picked the wrong sister."

Showing knowledge of my games is a quick way to my heart.  That and chocolate. (-:

I had a couple of goals while writing LCfK.  This is the female protagonist game I've wanted to write for a long time, but I know that those a...

Elsa's Nightmares Full Game

Today, I'm releasing the final chapter of Elsa's Nightmares.  As I've said before, this was originally intended as a series of "sex heavy, story light" patron perks to help keep people engaged while Mortze worked on A Warrior's Heart.  But, shortly after Mortze released his game, the pandemic hit hard and quarantined all of us.  So I switched to giving these to the public at large in order to do what little we could to take people's minds off of world events.

Privately, t...

This has been a brutal week.

In this space I'd normally write an innuendo-laden post about a sexy picture. But I just don't have it in me today.

I grew up in Detroit, and when I was a child, half of my friends were black. This was largely because half of the kids I went to school with were. My white friends and my black friends didn't seem "different" from each other. They were just people. Hatred isn't innate. It's a learned behavior. And no one taught it to me...

Elsa's Nightmares Ch 1-5

Today I'm releasing Chapter 5 of Elsa's Nightmares.

Although this was originally intended as a patron perk, due to the state of the world I'm going to keep giving it away for free.  That goes for both this and the final chapter, which I'll release in about a month.  If we raise your spirits even a little, that's a win.  I'll take any wins we can get at this point.

This version has 4 languages: English, Spanish, French, and German.  You can change the lan...

What a Legend! (MagicNuts) shoutout

Hello folks.

This is the first time we're doing this and we're very excited to use our Patreon page to promote a colleague project and own Patreon page.

We came recently to know a new game (thanks Moskys!) that is called What a Legend! Done by a charming real life couple. They both come up with the story and writing, she does the art and he does the coding.

They have just started this project and have presented the first update of the gam...

Elsa's Nightmares Ch 1-4

Here's Chapter 4 of Elsa's Nightmares.

Although I originally wrote EN as a source of Patron perks for Mortze, that was back before the world fell apart.  In the current world, we need all of the escapism as we can get, and we as human beings need to help each other however we can.  Although this is a small thing, giving this free to the public is something Mortze and I can do.

I hope you enjoy it.

According to Renpy, this first link is supposed to wor...

All Elsa-Verse short stories in one place

Hey everyone, Tlaero here.

Over the years, we've done ten short stories in the Elsa-Verse and have distributed them in various ways.  I've decided to bundle them all together into one download, complete with a handy dandy word doc that tells you the correct order to play the games and stories in.  The doc also includes links to the games in case you don't know where to find them.

This bundle includes two older stories we never made available to the public--Beginni...

Hello guys!

A little announcement; we're launching our Discord channel!!

A fellow patron (OZ) challenged us to make one and we considered it. Many colleagues devs already use that platform to promote their games and to meet and join the community that likes their work and also wants to talk about indie sex games. It is about time we also take part in the Discord community.

We made Discord accessible to our patrons yesterday - some of you may already ...

This is fan-fiction. I can't get money of this game. That's why I'm posting it freely on F95Zone simultaneously.

I can't thank you enough for keeping being around despite l...
