When writing day 3, I never put two and two together about the Diner scene. Before, the officer you encountered was a rookie who was on his first day of the job.
A rough first day to have a body on your hands, huh?
Over time the identity of this random rookie changed to a more deeper role that will play out later in another game, making the scene a little more heartbreaking depending on who died at the diner.
