I ENDED UP FINISHING IT

and now it's gonna be a series about modern love. It's been awhile since I've done any animated art, but I realize how much I miss it now. It's so much fun to do! It can also add SO much to a piece of art, which I'm finding is working really well for what I have in mind with these drawings. Ahhh I'm so excited! To finish or not to finish?

I'm working on a couple pieces right now that may or may not make it to the finish line. I'm having trouble deciding how I want to proceed with them! Remember that Starkeepers series I said I was working on? WELL.

I've finished it! Above are three sneak previews of the full pieces. I wanted to model each of them after women who portray both strength and delicacy, hence the soft colors yet KILLER eye makeup looks~

These pieces were a bit challenging in terms of balancing light and dark values. In each piece there's at least 2 light sources, I typically work with just one, so there was some trial and error that occur...
