Another Timiya commission for @pwigg, taking advantage of the "OCs at work" bounty from the last batch. The bounty as stated said no NSFW alts, but I backed off of that because it didn't make sense to have such an obvious setup with no payoff (the same will apply to the one(?) other pending commission using that bounty).

When I hit 7777 followers on Twitter I did a little giveaway of character headshots-- they were supposed to be simple low-effort doodles but I found I couldn't feel good about posting them until they were more polished (it's honestly a problem-- I need to learn to be okay with sharing unpolished stuff more) so we got these not-so-low-effort sketches instead.

Morgan's Sundress

Morgan likes looking cute as much as the next girl but she has to be careful about how and where.

I haven't posted anything in a bit and upcoming comms will be enough work that I wanted something for the socials in the meantime, and hence: Morgan is gifted a new spring dress that she won't be wearing much, at least not in public.

Skinny Dipping

It may be a nude beach but a modest (heh) fox girl still covers herself when others are looking.

Tried a lot of new things color-wise on this one, including laying out the base colors using gradient maps (basically shading the grayscale and then applying a gradient rule to turn the shading into color). It's tricky work that I need to practice more, but it does make for very easily trying interesting color schemes. I threw in a snowy Layla alt just to kinda show off what the hair and fur...

A few general notes on commissions

Not a lot will be changing imminently about my commission policy but since I've got a few newcomers I figure it's a good time to lay out some details for moving forward:

- I'll probably alternate between public batches and patreon-only batches, meaning the one I open soon (likely within the week) will be public.

I've set the end date properly this time to avoid the ambiguity of the last poll.

For the Daffodil option here, I've waffled in the past on whether Daffodil should have a schlong, in spite of having drawn it a couple times. I figure I'll commit to yes here.

For the glory hole option, none of the three characters are canonically likely to anonymously use a glory hole (except maybe Morgan as the taker, not the giver as described here) so we're gonna assume either they all lost a bet...

Patron's Choice 6: Lass fanart

OC of @sepiascribe on Twitter. Changed a bit from the WIP. Technically Lass has had at up to at least 6 breasts before, but I stopped at 4 so I could spend more time making them look good, and avoid rearranging everything to fit in the last set.

Of course I have drawn very little multibreast (in fact, only one previous piece I can think of) and I don't intend to make it too regular of a practice, but it's fun now and then.

Experimental commissions post-mortem

Thanks for trying out a new idea with me on experimental commissions. Now that we've tried a few I have a better idea what to expect for the future. Some observations:

End of the experimental batch! It ended up being almost all just artist style studies because I chickened out on some of the more out-there experiments I wanted to try originally.

Anyway I think this one is the biggest success by my own metric of trying to achieve a look based on someone else's style (particularly the hair/tail), even if I picked a pretty simple and somewhat mundane composition for it. @degeneratepai, an art hero of mine on twitter, drew this adorable and stupidly hung tiger boy a few times for year of the tiger. Now I, a full month or more late, felt like doing a quickie of him myself.

Experimental commission 4

Featuring Colettuce's Sahna and special guest appearance from friend artist CitrusFro's Ashanti (CitrusFro claims she ships these two).

The experiment here was another artist style study and you might actually see elements of the style in the shading specifically here, as well as the composition and a few other elements. Folks who joined my stream the other day know who the inspiring artist is, but I'll leave it to everyone else to guess (or just dm me to ask).

Notably absent from the list is the newly introduced four-armed femboy, who is likely to get drawn soon anyway if I don't sell him off.

Pretty boy

So I've gone so long waiting for someone to commission a femboy that I ended up making one myself, an unholy mishmash of almost every idiosyncrasy of my previous OC design choices. Pushed extremely into feminine territory because that's how the best lewd boys are.

Timiya, OC of pwigg and one of my favorites to draw, in another style study. I think in this case the style it's based on is pretty clear, that of Roadi (@RD_RN00 on twitter). A fun style to do once but one that felt pretty unnatural to me throughout the process.

Noticed that Telliandra's pose in the commission would really fit an alternate concept... The bun boy is another dravencleary OC. It's a rush job, but hey, it's a bonus after the fact so don't @ me. Or do @ me but about nice things instead.

Done for dravencleary. The experiment this time: artist style emulation. The artist: famed hyper-proportion master Nosunato. The funny thing is this doesn't really look anything like the artist's style in question, but I still think there are some elements I picked up from them that really help this piece: line style, both in pen and stroke shaping, and hatching. Experimental commission 1

For aabsurdity. I regret doing this one first because I don't want to set expectations for this level of quality on experimental commissions :P

Anyway, the experiment here was to work in minimal layer count, painting-style, and present without a lines layer. It's more-or-less a success, minus some messy shading around boundaries, but the workflow was awkward and that will need to change if I want to do any more of this style.
