Old Tier Anytime Commissions

Hey all. There are still a few people who were on the previous top pledge tier who still qualify for an anytime commission. If you are among those people, please DM me either here, on Discord, or on Twitter, and let me know if you intend to take advantage of that benefit.

I'm not looking for a full list of supporters from that tier (I can look that up), but rather a list of who plans to commission me outside of normal slots. This only applies to people who didn't already get an anytime ...

Patron's Choice 4: Cozy Night with Elouise

I'm in a style rut at the moment. I wanna try different brushes, different shading approaches, etc but I keep slipping back into this kind of look. I think I'm gonna do some experimental commissions soon focused on trying to replicate coloring styles of other artists.

Anyway, my cat's always trying to stick his nose into anything I'm eating, even if he won't actually eat it given the chance. I figured Hugo might do the same.

Quick update

Hi everyone! Thanks to a combination of burnout, holiday stress, and a temporarily immobilizing surgery, December turned out to be more of a break month than I expected. I still have a pending commission to complete and a few other pieces, but I do intend to open commission slots soon for the long-overdue patrons-only commission sale.  Keep an eye out for that soon!

Tier permissions bug

Hey everyone, Patreon's system is dumb and not letting people who were supporters at the old top tier see tier-exclusive content. It might be possible to fix that by clearing your cookies and cache, but if not, we've confirmed that updating your membership now to the new top tier should fix things. It won't cost you anything if you were already subbed at that level.

Reorganization complete!

I've finished reorganizing the support tiers, and that comes with some changes:

- Tier names have shifted: There Will Be Bl8d is now the $6 tier, with First Bl8d at $3 and Bl8d Simple is a new $1 tip jar tier, with last call access to commission sales but no other perks

- The anytime commissions perk is discontinued. Previously qualified supporters who didn't get a chance to take advantage of that will still have the opportunity once.

- The redlining/critique perk is discon...

This was a fun one. I did try to shoehorn in a dangling package just to see if it would work, and it just didn't look good.

Patreon Tier Reorganization

What's this? Changing stuff up already?? Yeah, as it turns out I can't maintain the anytime commissions perk, both because it's preventing me from opening any general commission batches or even patron exclusive sales, and because I need to be able to guarantee down time between those batches.

Considering how that was the meatiest benefit of the There Will Be Bl8d tier, I don't intend to keep charging at that level. I'll probably open a $1 tier and shift some benefits down the levels to...

Morgan stream view

I figure this is a good starting point for the stream view. For the record I don't really watch streamers at all so if anything looks wrong lemme know. It also needs a background.

This could actually be a template with variants for different facial expressions, t-shirt designs, and maybe other accessories.

Morgan's dream WIP

After brainstorming for a while on discord about who Morgan might dream of, and getting a lot of good answers, I ended up going with the very easiest one to draw: Link. I'm not accustomed to doing real fanart so it feels weird trying to capture Link's look here. The expression was especially difficult to nail down.

She may be the taker but this is still unusually dominant for Morgan. I liked the concept too much to pass it up though.

I know the partner almost seems like a mannequin or something, but I found the only ways to fix that would be to give him a face, or have him more animated, or both, and those are just too much more time to devote.

Morgan wip-- possible YCH?

This was a runaway sketch that was mainly for trying out a little different style for the face, but I think it's worth finishing. I don't know who that is holding her up though (if it's even clear that someone is holding her up at all). Maybe a cheap YCH when I've cleaned up the commissions slate a bit?

This is actually the sort of pose that's great for a four-armed giver, but the only one that would make any sense here of my own characters is Inga, and I don't really want to mix those...

"but wouldn't it be easier to reach the one on top?" Yes. Of course it would. It's also way less interesting.

Experimented with a different, intentionally sloppier technique for applying highlights here and I kinda like it. Great for a thoroughly wet look.

Damasu Headshot

A very neon render headshot of a Lancer OC for Pwigg. The whole red/blue half lighting is another thing I'd been wanting to do for a long time now.

This is also my first line-less digital painting. It's still an absolute mess of layers, but I built the color off of the sketch lines and then hid them.
