Here's a freebie for you! No Patreon charge for this one.

Whether you be bard or no, enter ye favourite tavern and dance along to this merry tune! Every RPG game needs a good inn, and every good inn needs a good minstrel or two!
This music is quite different to what I've released so far, so if you'd like to hear more of this sort of thing...

Hi folks. Another admin-y update here. For those of you on the Troudabour and Bard tiers, I've decided that the 'Making Of' videos which were once exclusive to your tier will, in the future, be publicly available for anyone to view. I may even experiment in live streaming these. Therefore I've removed that benefit from those Tiers. If anyone has any ideas for something to replace it with, hit me up!
If this decision means anyone wants to downgrade their Tier or rescind their pledge enti...

I've been pretty busy with some projects the last few months, but hope to return to fantasy land soon for some more RPG music.
After some careful thought, I've decided to change the 'Bard' tier, removing the WAV versions and Loopable Variants which I doubt will ever see much practical use, and instead replacing them with a once-per-month commission request, in which Bard supporters can ask me to write a track to fit with their campaign! These tracks will still be publicly av...

"The dirt cracks beneath your feet as you step into the ancient ruins. The whispers of the dead surround you. They chant in an long forgotten tongue, crowding closer as you approach the central structure. There, towering above you, stands the obelisk. Within, you may find what you seek"
A dark and mysterious ambient track for use as background music in a tabletop RPG game. This track could work well during the exploration of ancient ruins, or perhaps when the party travel to anot...

Here you can watch me write this track from beginning to end. I was a bit quiet in this one but hopefully you enjoy watching how the music came together.

Heya folks! Thanks in part to the support you've given me I'm been able to push the subscriber count on the youtube channel up the over 1000. As a little celebration I thought I'd do something a little different. So I've uploaded a video detailing the campaign setting I created for my own d&d game. Welcome to the world of Cohar...

"You swim deeper, guided by the hazy blue light of the jellyfish as they curiously follow you down. There you see the wreck. The once grand elven vessel lies forgotten at the sea bed. As you swim closer, you hear voices... Distant echoes of ghosts that are chained to the ruins of the ship."
This track has a melancholic and mystical sound to it, intermingled with some beauty and hope. I can imagine it being used whilst the characters explore some ancient ruins, or swim through a m...

Here's a tutorial I created to help GMs stream music / sound effects from their computer to their players during online games. It's a little complicated to set up, but hopefully this tutorial will easily guide you through the process.
More music on the way soon!

"That night, the same vision comes to you once more. You walk across the ocean's edge, black sand against your feet as waves the colour of blood wash over your ankles. A solitary figure stands in the distance. They reach one hand out, slowly, towards you. You feel a terrible pain lance through your body, and you wake up."
This track is an unusual one! It's a little unsettling, emotional, and foreboding. Perhaps you could use this in the build up to a big fight to build the ...

What an unusual track this turned out to be! Join me as I write my latest track for beginning to end. This one was a lot of fun, if a little bizarre at times.

Hey there amazing Troubadour. Here's some links!
"Before you rise the stone towers of an ancient monastery, built of stone that looks to have been hewn from the mountainside upon which it rests. Distance figures in pale robes that blow in the wind watch your approach in silence. There is a strange silence here, as if the wind itself has paused in reverence to this remarkable structure."
This track would work great in an Asian themed fantasy tabletop game. Perhaps the party Monk must make a visit back to their temple to s...

Well, this is something new and exciting! For the first time ever I've filmed myself writing a track from beginning to end. If any of you would like to see how one of these tracks comes together, this is the perfect video.
Let me know how this format works for you all, and whether you'd like to see more of this kind of thing.

"As the mist clears, and you gather at the starboard side of the ship, you see a vast landscape of ruined structures that rise above the water. Beautiful statues of a once great civilisation, now covered in moss and lichen. There's a sadness to the sight, but also a sense of peace and stillness that comes over you and the crew as you look out in wonder."
This track could work great during an emotional moment in a Fantasy game. Perhaps this track plays quietly in the background...

The first of many tabletop RPG tracks to come!
"As you exit the craft, the hum of the engine is replaced by a soft wind that rustles through the alien plant-life of this distant rock. The swirling atmosphere above casts a blue radiance upon the landscape that shimmers like water."
This track could work well in a Sci Fi game when the players arrive on a new world, or perhaps in a Fantasy setting in a strange, otherworldly plane of existence. Or even an underwater town haunted...
