I'm back from Ciderfest! I didn't break even. If I consider the cost of food and all, it cost me about $100 to work my butt off for a week. That's just how things go sometimes, so I'll learn from it to do better next time. (and I'm gonna open commission this month to offset it a bit)

Otherwise, living in my new place is nice! Got no complaints at all about that!

Okay life summary!

This month, I re-dedicated myself to waking up using morning doodles as motivation. I am now able to comfortably wake up before 7:00am. Folks on the Discord channel are helping by calling me out if I don't post a doodle by that time (and then they get a doodle request if they do catch me slacking. It's super helpful.)

I'm back!

After Trotcon, then moving, and then a very long Bronycon, I'm back at home!

At Trotcon, I maybe only broke even, but at Bronycon, I and every other vendor there (as far as I could tell) had unprecedented success with sales. It was a great convention!

This month is going to be crazy. I'm heading off to Trotcon around the 17th, and then it's not longer after I get back before I leave for Bronycon on the first of August.

On top of that, I'm moving across town any day now. I might have limited internet access for a while. I was told by my brother it would be shut off two days ago, but I guess he's procrastinating.

Ohdang Almost forgot! Monthly Poll: October

PERSONAL UPDATE: I just quit my job. My last day is on the 13th. 

I'll begin trying to stream for 8 hours a day, and I'll take commissions and hold YCH auctions. With those plans and your support, I don't expect to have money issues for a very long time. If stuff goes poorly, I have savings to fall back on.

I am optimistic.

And I expect to have much more free time this month. I have a 5-day weekend and a 4 day weekend coming up. (August, I had a whole lot of 2 day weekends and it was kinda difficult to fit much into them)

Bronycon was a huge success. Made twice as much as I did last year! But for how busy it all was, I had no time to update Fathomsunder last month. I'll see if I can do it this coming weekend. :)

As for this month, I don't have any long weekends at all. They're all 2 days long, maybe one 3 day weekend. I'll have to work hard to use my time wisely. Maybe I'll force it with a few streams.

Ask-Folly won last month, and I drew a little for it yesterday! I think the reason I haven't drawn a WHOLE LOT for it is because I primarily dedicated this month to getting back up to date on Dogstomp. Posted two a day almost the entire month. I'm barely two weeks behind now instead of over a month!

Update on pausing for a month:

I thought I set it to do it, but the system didn't recognize what I attempted to do, so instead of not being charged at the beginning of April, you won't be charged at the beginning of May.

If you haven't read the previous post about this, it's for me to catch up on stuff for a month, because I feel like I'm risking falling irreversibly behind on some things.

Pausing this for a month.

It's been quite a month and I haven't been able to keep up with a few rewards, including updating an ask blog, so I've put a pause on it for a month to make sure I don't reach a point where I am too far behind on commitments to recover. Come the first of the month, you won't be charged anything.

I'll try to find the time to do March stuff in April, so as far as Patreon is concerned, you could pretend March is just 2 months long this year.

It'll return to normal in May.
