Piper and Buster
This was a small tribute piece I did for someone that tragically lost their kitten (Piper the tuxedo) to a terrible incident earlier this year. Her brother Buster looked over her. Losing a pet is dreadful as I've experienced it multiple times. This was a small token of sympathy I could give. :3

Lights, Camera, Action!
I'm about done with line art and color prep, but thought I'd throw up an action page since I don't feel I've shown much of that yet. Big things to come in the story. This is just a small taste. :P
It may look a bit drab with all the gray tone, but I assure you, once colored and rendered, this page will transform vastly. :D
As a little note, some of the fight sequences were referenced from Judo matches.

The grind continues
As I get lost in the grind while working on the comic, I keep meaning to post some of the progress for my patreons. This page above is one part of the assembly line process that I use. This stage is what I call "line art and color prep". This is the clean up phase after sketching where I get all the clean lines and color mask in all the characters, backgrounds, boxes, panels, etc....using a lot of layers, folders, and organizing.

Taking a step back
This sketch of Holly is the last one of an 18-page set I just finished drawing. This will make a lot more sense in the future as the story progresses, but as a standalone, you can take it as is.
I've spent over 5 years developing my artistic craft on this art journey and at least 4 on developing the world and story. The page I just finished tonight had me in tears. There really is an attachment to these characters after this much investment, and this night proved it. I really hope this ...

The situation intensifies
I wanted to share with my $5 patreons one of my recent sketched pages. I must say this section of the book (aka the finale) is taking a toll on me. :P It's turning out to be a much higher amount of pages than anticipated, all in the interest of trying to keep good pacing and visual storytelling.

Behind the scenes
I thought I'd share a typical night of chugging away. I swear, the more monitors you have, you WILL find a use for them! XD I got references on the left, script, music, chat on the right, and the creative middle. Normally my cat Kepler would be pawing the screen and driving me insane, but I've been lucky tonight so far.
