Have another sneak peek at our secret project. A pair of couples, or a couple of pairs, hanging out at a modren bar with fancy mood lighting. I had fun with the shading here.
TRIVIA TIDBIT: The opossum bartender, Paul, was actually the inspiration for Pride Possum in the upcoming "My Bigger Boyfriend" comic I'll be unveiling soon. I did change his name and he works at a different bar, so we'll say they're cousins or something. Enjoy!

Not gonna lie … I was pretty happy with that bottom panel. I feel I got enough movement into their poses I didn't even need to draw any of the little "action lines" that as a cartoonist I usually tend to add by sheer habit.

So … my plans for this month were a bit overoptimistic. Getting back from FC and diving right into packing up and moving … Getting set up in the new place* both took more time than anticipated, AND drained my energy reserves much more than I'd hoped. It's been a busy couple months … MFF and the holidays, and now gearing up for FC, and we're moving immediately afterwards! (Just across town, to a bigger house. I'll have an office again!)
