download: SCAREDY CAT DUNGEON - early access

it took me a while but i have finished the print-and-play version of SCAREDY CAT DUNGEON! 

it's a push-your-luck card game where you play as cowardly adventurers who are terrified of monsters but really want treasure. i designed it to be a quick game (each game is ~10 minutes) that is easy to teach and learn. it's for players age 8 and up so you can play with younger friends and family too!

so, i made a little dressup game for the discord server gift exchange! (or well, i made a dressup game so that i could use it as a base for the image tehat ended up being the gift.)

my gift was for trace and the prompt was hyenas, so i thought it'd be a good opportunity for me to try using renpy's web export function, which i've never done before. most of my games are too heavy for a good web experience, but i thought that a light, no-music dressup game probably wouldn't be too laggy on...

this is a little thing i created for business card jam in 1 hour this morning and released just now! it's a very small thing so there isn't any early access for it - it's just a little business-card sized membership card that you can print out - but i really liked the idea of business card jam so i wanted to make something for it.

hello & happy start of november! here's my monthly update + a picture of my ✨ NEW TABLET STAND!! ✨ 

thanks to your support, i decided to finally invest in a proper stand for my pen tablet so i can draw with better posture, instead of hunched over my floor table. it arrived on saturday and i wish i had bought it sooner, honestly - it is much easier to draw and much better for my back and shoulders!

i've been talking about it here for a little while, but i have officially announced SCAREDY CAT DUNGEON for game market autumn in tokyo and have started taking event pick up reservations ✨ ✨ 

i know this is a bit different from what i usually do, but i wanted to share it with all of you since i'm really proud of it. 

i don't know if i will be able to ship this internationally yet - i may instead sell this online through a site like booth.pm which only ships to japane...

a sneak peek at some card art for my new (card) game! i'm trying to keep the design very simple & i'm fairly happy with how they've turned out so far. next i'm going to fine tune my monster designs but i wanted to show the treasure designs to you all first!

(the colours are very bright on the computer screen but i think when they're printed they'll be much more muted. i'm going to test with a printer soon & see how it goes.)

tea time minigame!

i finally managed to wrestle together a tea time minigame (?) for my yaoi game jam game. 

while i'm still working on putting most of the game together, the gist of it is that you are the owner of a tavern which serves tea, and you brew tea for your customers. 

once i figure out how to include tea names on the final screen (and also actually have a help screen so that when you press the help button, a screen actually shows up...), i'll have a build up for 🍰 cake set pa...
