i tried a lot of things i haven't ever done before in this game, so i really hope that you will all enjoy! it took me a lot to get it done in a month in both english & japanese, but i'm happy that it's finally done so that i can share the game with all of you!

nanoreno character sprites

this time since i'm trying something a bit different that needs more coding than i usually do (going to be making a visual novel with clicker game elements), i've decided to go for sprites like these, focussing on the character's heads. 

right now i've finished most of the character sprites & bgs (though there are very few bgs in game), and i'm working on finishing route scripts, cgs & music.

i also need to think of a title for nanoreno since i don't have one yet... h...

nanoreno menu ui & little update

this is how the menu is looking! i spent way too much time on making sure all of the screens worked and trying to get the spacing right for the different options, but i'm pretty happy with how it looks. 

for the game itself, i have finally managed to get a timer working properly so the main 'game' bit of the game is functioning, and i am working on the script now. i still have a lot to plot out but i really like the characters so far, so i hope you'll all enjoy it.

speech bubbles for nanoreno!

i'm slowly working on my nanoreno game. (my day job is very busy currently but i think i am doing a good pace!) here is a little update.

i've settled on showing dialogue in speech bubbles, so that the dialogue boxes are shown in different places depending on the character. it took me a while to get them working the way i want them to, but i think they are ok for now. 

(a little worried that the speech bubble having the same outline colour as everything in the background makes...
