Taking a Dip Pages 19-20 *WIP Sketches*

First thing first, I just noticed that I forgot to add her wings in the sketch on page 20 in two panels.

I really like the fairys(we actually learn her name in these pages) expression in the big panel on the first page, even made a twitter post about it.(It's nothing special, you don't have to check it out) At first I wasn't sure how to make her mouth, but once I did it like this I was like "this is perfect!"

Due to me recently realizing that modern smartphones have a much higher resolution than I initially realized(It's fine, you can call me grandpa. Heck, with 37 I'm old enough to BE a grandpa) which make images look quite different from my small laptop pc to a smartphone, so I wondered... what are you guys using?

For the first page here, I really like the idea for the speech bubbles(as can be seen in the concept sketched version). She started a sentence, but then stopped and was thinking about some stuff and then continued it after that. Thus the speech bubbles are connected. It's stuff like this that can only be done in comics, not in animation or writing.

There are also several panels I really like here.

I forgot to mention it in the last update in "Taking a dip" comic, but I'm trying some new things with coloring boobs. The first is the shading of the actual boob. Many hentai artist shade the outer layer of the boobs, but the space between them is completely free of shade. Which makes no sense realistically speaking, but it doesn't look "bad". However as every second good hentai artist uses this kind of shade, I will try as well.

I hope that I will be able to draw the shore as well as I did in the original artwork of this comic, before I decided to make it a full comic. I liked how it turned out back then. But as of this part of the drawing process everything will be the same as usual, thus in these wip images you won't notice anything different.

Of course some of the pages here were quite fun to draw, thus I can't complain too much, but I know what you guys are coming here for and I don't want to disappoint you.

As usual I try to be all unique and stuff(this story IS completely written by someone else, but one of the reasons why I choose to draw this story over others is the unique twist)

Alright, we're back on track with the upload schedule.

Not much to talk about...Ah, I just noticed i forgot to draw blush lines in the second panel of the first page. I hate it when stuff like that happens. ... Damn, and the speedlines in the next panel as well. Doesn't surprise me though that I forgot about that kind of stuff, as I was in a hurry to finish these due to previous mentioned reallife issues.

This month has started with a delay and unfortunately I wasn't able to catch up yet. Reallife has been kinda busy. Thankfully by the next upload(WIP colors for 'A Piece of Cake') I think I will have it sorted out.

Those backgrounds always look so empty without textures and special effects, but those are one of the last steps of the drawing process thus I can't (time wise) post them in these WIPs unfortunately.

The two things I really like about these pages is first the panel where she crosses her arms. The expression, the body language, I really like it.

And then the cartoony panels. Drawing funny panels allows me to oil my artistic muscles a bit. Don't get me wrong, I get a lot of experience drawing giantess stuff that I wouldn't get otherwise, but it's still quite limited. One day I want to draw a giantess fighting manga. Don't know how that would make sense, but I like the idea.

Odd thing happened here. In the bottom panel of the first page, i actually kept most of the initial concept sketch to the finished sketch, which is something I very rarely do. However when I tried to recreate it from scratch, the new version just looked like shit. After thinking about it for a while, I finally accepted that I have to scrap the new version and instead have to use the original concept sketch. This is why I said last upload that this won't be a vore story.Honestly, drawing the crying panel really made me feel uncomfortable. Maybe I made it a bit too serious looking? But I really wanted the feel to be captured properly.But man, I really screwd myself up with the panels, because too many of them have visible hair in them, which is a pain to draw. I really should develop an easier style to draw hair.

It's kinda funny, I thought it would be odd drawing a reversed sizes story at first, but I got used to it pretty quickly.

But as a reminder, they will eventually switch places, as seen by the original artwork I made for this a while back.

I think I will do the tears in post coloring. But for some reason I did the snot early on...

But man, I really screwd myself up with the panels, because too many of them have visible hair in them, which is a pain to draw. I really should develop an easier style to draw hair.

This will be quite the hurdle to draw with the water effects, as it will be transparent in most panels this time. It will make it look better, but also more difficult to draw. When I did it in page 2 it looked quite good though, better than the plain texture for the regular water panels. Oh well

The big panel on the last page the script actually called for "Confused, she looks up to see the gargantuan form of her girlfriend, her face mostly obscured by her boobs." ... Of course, the fact that i gave this character slightly smaller boobs compared to the shrunken girl made it a bit more difficult to draw, but i managed to pull it off haha.

Update or New Post for WIP content? (poll)

Hi. Someone just recently informed me that whenever I update a WIP post, while it may send out an E-Mail, it doesn't put the post back to the top at the Patreon feed thingy. Meaning people who use those instead of E-Mail to check new stuff might miss those updates.

He suggested to simply make a new post for new updates, but I'm personally on the fence on whether to do that or do it like before. Thus I will simply ask you guys what you prefer:
