As far as I know nowadays some people use them as tracking and digging after rats, but I know they were used in fox hunting too to track and go after the foxes under the ground. Lajka was my first and one of the easiest idea for this word today. To be honest when I was kid and I read about Lajka I was like "Woah, a dog was out in the space! That's so cool!' And then years later I read about his true sad story... I think it was one of my heartbreak as an adult. He definitely deserved way better fate than this.

So I searched after them and I just found this little one, which surprises me, but also it's amazed how this little dog helped so much in the war. It was a really hard one, because all the photos about Balto is old, small and black&white. It was hard to catch his character. For this word it was an easy to find the perfect model as Balto was the hope for all the children in that city. To be honest that's one of the stories which always makes me cry x"D Don't ask why, but I always feel touched how he and his owner saved the kids. Sooo, remember that w.i.p. what I showed for you some weeks ago? That was part of the OC project where I designed OC inspired masks. You can buy it soon in my Threadless shop, I just would like to add some extra design :3 (Royalties will got discount in the shop!)
