I get sensitive to criticism sometimes, and want to get better at receiving it, but I need it all the same. It makes me think critically about my writing, and it makes me better in the long run. Novels or Novellas -- What is your preference?

Since the question of slowness and length has been brought up with regards to my new titles in the reviews I'm getting on Amazon, I wanted to ask the Patreon for input.

Right now, each weekly installment of I, Werewoman or Holly for the Holidays that I publish is around 30k words, a novella, or roughly half the length of a small novel. It sucks, and feels like a gut punch. And I was all excited about how many people have been e-mailing me and telling me they love my stories and leaving me comments on DeviantArt and Reddit and here. But apparently, as far as formal reviews go... :(

Publishing Plans Update

So I,W Part Five: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun got to be Too Long again and was two days overdue, so I chopped the finished part of it off (31k words) and published it as Part Five: Midnight to Moonset today instead and will save Part Six: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun for after the Holidays.

In the interim, I will now be turning my attention to Holly for the Holidays. A revised and expanded Part One and a brand new Part Two should both be out around the 15t...

Just thought you guys might enjoy a peak at the dress that inspired the one I put in the book. I think the one Sabina is wearing is a bit darker, more overtly burgundy or maroon, and the cowl neck doesn't drop QUITE that low on hers (her hips are also not quite so ample), but it's pretty close.

In case anyone would like a visual reference with which to understand what Sabina's new footwear looks like...
