LEAVE LESS TRACE! This is a story about how we can make less of an impact if we are going to make one. We put a lot of thought into this project and were able to remove 20+ bolts and install only 6 bolts on the Lost Arrow Spire tip that services everyone's needs, climbers and highliners. We did it all by hand with an amazing team. Bobby Hutton, Alonso Rodriguez, Kyle Lovett, Greg Kommel, Nick Day, Ryan McBurney. This was quite an expensive project so donati...

We expected bolts to twist in the glue, break the bond and fail much lower than normal if we pulled sideways. Well…….. Just watch. Live life high... safely. All the info is FREE at https://www.SLACKLINE.com/ 4 different pulleys tested with low stretch polyester and high stretch nylon webbing = 8 longlines rigged in a day! It was crazy to get 1kn when pulling without multipliers, 0.6kn when pulling with 1 multiplier and 0.3kn when multiplied twice. It’s like two steps forward and 1 step backward. We pulled a set of TCU Climbing cams out of granite cracks and broke rocks, slings and wires. Samples 938 to 949 on our Slacksnap chart is on our website and these slipped as low as 5.5kn and broke as high as 15.85 which is a huge range. The axial would get bent and make the lobes look all messed up! Dynamometer should have been LineScale2 if we didn't break it... found at https://www.linegrip.com/line...

We pulled 3 slacklines with the new Infinity ratchet system from Spider Slacks and Slack Inov. Wow, that’s a lot easier than pulleys but it struggles with fat webbings and fat loops. This can be used when rigging giant highlines and can be left in the system or used with a separate piece of webbing and a linegrip. https://spide...

As long as your big highline is high enough, you can rope swing off any of them now. You don’t need a rock off to the side for an exit. In line rope swinging opens up all sorts of new spots to fly through the air. Music used was Hero In Peril by Audionautix and Iron Bacon by Kevin MacLeod Live life high... safely. You asked, we finally did it! We tested 3 of each amazon knock off carabiners. Xinda, Favofit, Ayamaya and Big Wall Traverse brands (@Sam_Moritz donated the Traverse biners). Some are UIAA rated, some are not, some say they are… and are not. They all broke super good enough but we should support the name brands who are actually innovating. Will not link to these carabiners as I do not want to support them more than I already have brought attention to them. &nbs...

Benjamin Schuldt donated some 60cm mammut contact slings (https://amzn.to/2W8PAm7) made out of dyneema, which is very slippery so when one side breaks of a leg of a climbing anchor when a girth hitch or clove hitch is used it isn't very redundant. Yann Camus from https://www.youtube.com/user/ycamus came up with a combo that might be more redundant....
