With the story generation comes animation work (as always) and of course writing the story with my.. engrish.. >_<
So.. on Saturday i created some animations for a device which will be used relatively early in the game (nothing lewd.. except if you find *** on the ship) and i also made some additional animations for the ship.

ON Saturday i wrote some additional scripts for the game flow (story) and on Sunday i continued with the actual story.
soo... on Saturday i added so more functionality for the story i know i needed. Several little things like displaying a button on the screen dynamically (not tied to a specific script) then a tinmer function to continue with the next framer after X seconds.. etc.. etc..

So.. This weekend can be described as the weekend I created the character creator GUI. (tldr version)
On Saturdays, i reused most of the script i had for milky ways (the one you already know) and extended it to accommodate more parameters. Slowly but steady towards a playable game.
On saturday i finally found a new 3d model for the repair robot since the old one was to large to fit into tight spaces where the play could place mines to disable the robots. I refitted it a little bit and gave it some logic and animations.

This weekend I could not wait anymore and started my first venture into main menu, story and all the animations that comes within the first 5 min of the game.
On saturday i started to create the start of the story (the GIF above is literary the main menu without buttons). Then i actually scripted the main menu as well as some more graphical options (AA for Deferred and forward rendering)

This time only a picture, but i guess everyone knows what this thing will do… And... it can hover and the indents on the seat are... not objects i have hidden due to XXX stuff.

I did not want to spoil the level so much, so i created a.. Different gif xD

Sunday was mostly the same but i also started to change the patrol routine of the enemy AI a little bit (this is WIP) and i also added some sounds if a enemy found the player.

Do not (yet) put your hopes too high about the many tentacles on the repair drone in the GIF. I do not think i have time to create game logic and animations for it in the first release.

This weekend i added the mine against the enemy drones as well as a new enemy type.
On Saturday i added the mine with the script needed to disable the enemy drone. So , you can actually place it and wait for an enemy to be disabled. But be careful ,there is yet another enemy which will come and repair the drone.

This weekend i added a few more animations to the enemy hover bot as well as the patrol script.
ON saturday i added a few more animations for the one enemy i have in the game so far , the hover drone, now i have animations for :
-Play dead, open necessary clothing items on the player, attach vibrators , mouth plugs and (as seen last weekend) the handcuffs.

As you can see in the GIF, I added the first enemy and one animation.
On Saturday, i bought an enemy (drone in this case) from the unity asset store and changed a little bit of.. The design... we need arms :D

ON Saturdays, I continued to import all the old scripts back into the game and on sunday i took the time to grab some skins which i will use.

Doesn't look like much , just looks like the good old settings menu from AATOFL and MW but it works. Finally... >_<
So.. As everyone can see, i brought my old framework from MW back to live with the help of the Canvas system from Unity. Took my a while, and currently only the bare minimum is working. The main function which actually triggers the events and the text as well as the settings menu. Save and load also works.

On Saturday i gathered more morphs for the player and NPC model and on sunday i started to include old code into a new project.

This weekend was a mixed bag, A tiny little big level design on Saturday and on Sunday i started to gather some morphs for the main base mesh of the game.

Just as with every game, i create via the Unity 3D engine. The occlusion culling never fails to fail.. Sometimes spectacularly.

Jep, it is time to let it go.
This weekend I added in one last device I had animated months ago, and now it is in the game and can be built after finishing the main story.

I optimized some texture sizes this weekend, Pretty boring work to be honest >_<
So, essentially what I did was using the unity profiler to see what textures were used in the game and what size they have. And… Well… I do not think the cryo pod needs 8k textures (which weights for about 100 MB O.o)
So I was able to scrape about 500 MB of texture size out of the game on Saturday.

Even though I rumbled the whole weekend behind Visual Studio, I was not able to compile a functioning version of MW. I am very sorry.
My plan was to release an experimental version, but the version I compiled yesterday had big issues with the file size and the placeable objects from the mini mod editor. (while loading)
I hope I can do the experimental open beta next week for you guys.

So.. uff.. that was much work done. I am running out of time (kind of)
This weekend i continued with the runtime event creation and pretty much succeeded with all things i wanted to do.
I added nearly all the devices and machines i created to the list of creatable things (dear god.. over 30 devices and i bet i forgot some)

This weekend, i implemented the detail view of the VN event generation for the runtime story editor.
On Saturdays i needed to first clean up from files from the other project so i could actually copy the scripts over to MW.
AND... once i implemented them in MW i had to fight.. many.. many.. many.. compiler errors so.. this weekend i am actually glad the the game does not crash once i open the runtime editor.
