Last night, I received the first draft of the Paradise Mountain zine from Will and it looks AMAZING! I've sent him back my feedback and we will likely be ready to launch the zine before the new year!

I've been hard at work on the youxia class and have found a publisher and co-author to work on it with me (don't worry, you still get it for free)! One of the challenges has been not only designing the class, but also coming up with gameplay tools to help give D&D adventures align with Chinese martial arts media. D&D's identity is firmly rooted in European mythology, making certain elements difficult to translate into Chinese martial arts stories.

While I wait for Will to get back to me on the Paradise Mountain document, I've started working on other aspects of the Yue setting. For my home game, a player may end up shifting away from a class completely (either by choice or death). In an inspired creative burst, I started drafting an ENTIRE D&D 5th EDITION CLASS for them.

It's DONE! Well, at least a complete draft. I've finally finished the first draft of a micro-setting within my mini-setting (does that make sense?) for the Yue Empire!
My hopes are that I'll be able to get a map made by my artist by the end of the month! I'm going to put this together into a PDF, but I'm too excited not to share it!
