Sam & Bowser Illustration Lines

Here are the lines for the illustration.  I took the advice offered and added more items in the foreground to try to balance things out.

You guys voted, so here is the concept sketch for Sam's featured art!  I was inspired by Atsuya Uki's work (Digimon Adventure, Cencoroll)  in the idea of having everything "floating" in the image.

Update on the comic front!

Touching base with everyone -- I'm finishing up the last of my commissions and plan to start working on Let's Play soon.  The next chapter's script is done, the assets are built, I just need to bring the pen to the page.  So once I finish up the current two commissions I have, I'll post the next pages here.

Running References for Animation

I studied some gifs of anime characters running and made these running animations with ClipStudio's 3D software to help others if they need a reference for study.  Attached is the Clip Studio file I used with the animated cels.  This includes a determined run, a delicate run, and an awkward/clumsy run.

I might clean this up when I have some free time and use it for Angela, Vikki, and Sam.  XD

Ashaduan Process

Commission for James and Sarah of their Final Fantasy XIV characters as an astrologian card. 

I used the existing in-game astrologian cards for referencing the bottom border of the card.  The rocks they're standing on and directly behind them is a custom brush for ClipStudio I made.  And the bushes are also a brush I got for free from the online ClipStudio library.  The hatching lines were painted with toning and masks.  And the overall picture was overlayed with a mod...

December Update

Hi guys!  I wanted to thank everyone for their continued support of me over this past month despite the lack of updates.  With getting commissions out of the way, illness, weddings, and holidays I haven't been able to work on "Let's Play" and other projects as much as I'd want, but I hope to start working on them soon!  I also have Patreon tutorials and resources planned over the next few months and I hope to jump into the next year with a new furvor!

Let's Play Comic Update

Hey guys, if you're not aware, I have to put my Let's Play Comic on hold temporarily.  As I've posted on other social media outlets, I've been slammed with an unexpected medical expense in upwards of around $2k dollars.  I had been told the procedure would be covered by my insurance, but once it had been performed, that wasn't entirely true.  So I'm having to do commissions in order to pay for the medical bill.

Possible Chapter 4 Wrap-up?

Hey guys, quick question.  I have a couple more pages in mind for chapter 4, however I don't feel the ending I have planned is that strong.  So, I could easily mesh it into chapter 5.  I think the final panel of the last page I just submitted would make for a good page-turner for the next chapter.  What do you guys think?  I don't want it to seem forced to end the chapter here, but I also think it's better than what I have planned.

I did the lines for this a couple of days ago on my time off.  Today I finished coloring it after "reading" a Japanese tutorial on properly selecting an anime-styled color palette.

Bowser Animation

If you guys have Clip Studio, I wanted to post the clip file for the above animation.  It's my first real attempt at animating anything and I've already found a few tricks I could have used in Clip Studio since working on this, but I thought I'd share it anyway.
