Original Project Character Outfit Concepts 01

Two characters from my original project.  I'm holding off on listing names for a bit.  I can safely say that the man is a human paladin and the woman is an elven witch/druid.  He's around 6'2" and she's at around 5'8".

Another list of look concepts for my original character.  I felt her face was a bit too naiveté with this look.  I also really liked the look of the hair, but it will be a real pain in the butt to draw that hair over and over again from panel to panel.  So I'm opting for a less busy look.  I may do this hair for a special event in the comic, but it will not be her true look.

She also has glasses in some of the panels because she occasionally wears magical glasse...

Man, six months later (?) since the last page -- my style/quality has changed.  I hope for the better.  ^^;

I still can't decide how I want to draw background crowds when they are not the focus.  I always feel it's such a waste to spend a bunch of time drawing out a detailed crowd when the only thing I need to do is to draw enough for the reader to get the idea and then it's good.  But at the same time, it looks lazy.  :\

Hani Pin-Up Concept 01

Very rough sketch of a potential Hani pin-up. I wanted to draw something reminisce of the old pin-ups where something mildly unfortunate was happening to the lady and I thought that speeding while on a scooter would be something Hani would totally do. Then she's proceed to pout/feign ignorance, twirl her hair, and play the whole innocent damsel card in order to get out of a ticket. I haven't settled on her expression yet though and that will set the tone for the whole picture.

Next Doujin Project Ideas
