Heya everyone! Hope ya'll have been having some happy holidays.
Over the past few days I've been working on parallax scatters for Earth.
They're rather basic right now but I'm planning on adding lots more with various species of plants, trees, types of rocks, and maybe some more fun additions like wildlife.

What's new in RSS-Reborn?
- 64k colormaps and heightmaps have been added to Earth, Luna, and Mars for the terrain
- Update RSSVE-Textures Config, reports have been made of doubling performance and fixing the performance when looking at the horizon bug.
- Minor tweaks to RSSVE-Configs to make the clouds less noisy

What's new in RSS-Reborn?
- Earth now uses cbNameLater again, meaning names will display properly in Kerbalism, Mechjeb, etc. This also fixes various compatibility issues with other mods.
- Some minor optimizations to Earth's clouds
- Total Mars revamp (still WIP)
- New 64k color map
- New parallax textures
- New dust storms
- Fixed parts of mars being under the Aeroid (lowest point on Mars is now 0 alt)

Heya everyone, quick update since I’m currently on vacation.

Quick little patreon sneak peak at some custom parallax configs that I'm working on.
Just like everything else in RSS-Reborn, this will be completely independent from any other stock config, so this isn't just reusing the same old textures from Parallax_StockTextures.

Heya everyone, been a while if you don't follow me on discord but I've been working on some updates to RSS Reborn
Current updates are:
- Reworked 32k Clouds.
- New Ozone Support.
- 64k Earth, Mars, and Luna are now built in.
- Quite a few atmosphere fixes.
- Venus now has 2D clouds, Volumetrics are planned but it's just to get something there.
- Many other minor improvements over the old version.

Well, second one, this time on my rather terrible code which I'll probably remake eventually, anyways...
The thought occurred to me the other day that I need to try to get some real coding experience, as most of what I do in KSP is not that. I figured a good first project would be writing a script that will automatically normalize the heightmap values. I assumed C++ would be a good start, ImageMagick had a plugin for it after all and I thought I was all set.

Well here's the first little dev diary/update thing.
Currently remaking 64k textures for RSS-Reborn, similar to what EVO and PRVE-64k have, this time I'm not reusing the same old textures PingoPete made back in 2016 for RVE64.
The reason I'm doing this is pretty simple, PingoPete cut out spots for the citylights, which just looks awful because you end up with random gaps in the texture, I tried recovering them through the alpha channel but the data's been los...

Heya! This is quick little overview of my RSS-Reborn project.
It started out as a fun little project to create a nice stable platform for MTE but has evolved into its own branch of RSS, I'm currently planning on fleshing out every planet and moon with everything it could possibly need, new textures, new scatterer configs, new volumetric cloud configs, new parallax 2.0 configs, new terrain meshs, everything.
