We finally managed to edit all the pages with English text! Hurray \o/ As you may know, "Love Melodies" is first produced in German. At the beginning, we translated the text within the manga pages that you see here, but somewhere along the line, we began translating them in the webtoon document. And when we realized that transferring the text back to the manga pages took a lot of time, we... just let it slip orz....

The chapter has been done for a few weeks now, but editing and translating the pages has been a bit slower than expected OTL We hope, that we can manage, that patreons are always 3 - 4 updates ahead of free webtoon readers in the future :3

Hazuki and Forte have become one of my favorite pairings over the last few months, so I had a ton of fun drawing this chapter... except for the part in the middle *cough*. But still, I have to admit I kinda fell in love with Asano and Kodama. Somehow those two assholes have crept their way into my heart. I'm weak... Aikawa on the other hand he's free game for you guys. Mono and Mero have a... special dynamic. As Mono tends to be kind of a Tsundere, Mero has an easy time teasing Mono and making him upset. In turn, Mono's mean attitude manages to outrage Mero time and time again. Despite that Mero feels drawn to Mono and wants to become his friend, no matter what!

In chapter 2 we wanted to show a bit more how Rory, Zai and Noru interact with each other. While Zai is an extrovert and likes to meet new people, Noru has a hard time with that, being a bit shy and all. We also wanted to show Obata, their new caretaker, but there is a bit more to him, than meets the eye.

This first chapter of Love Melodies was finished in April of 2021 and since then we have learned a lot in terms of pacing, paneling and storytelling, so the this first chapter might seem a bit clunky, but we still hope you enjoy reading the pages in the form they look like, before they get edited for the Web Relase!
