Hey guys, this week I am working on the dueling Sun and Moon dragons! Two brand new dragons straight from spelljammer.

What the heck is a palimpsest you ask?
Allow me to explain, because there is a lot to unpack.
In the real world a palimpsest is an old piece of parchment that has the top layer (where all the script is) scraped off so it can be used again. The idea behind this creature is that after countless years of this happening with magic script, the magic has seeped into the parchment itself and now IT'S ALIVE!!!!!
I can't wait to tell you all about it in this week's video!

Bloodthirsty, and ready for a drink! The snallygaster approaches!
These peculiar flying monstrosities have a penchant for sucking down both blood and ale. You had best be prepared to give one to save the other! Bane of tavern keepers all across the realm, the snallygaster is nothing to take light hearted. The video will be up shortly! See you all then!

This rasclly little rascal is the rasclinn! A dune running hunters nightmare. These guys were a ton of fun to convert from the OG darksun setting, so hopefully you like them to! The final version which will launch alongside the video is even going to have a little magic item as part of the statblock so stay tuned for the update. Until then!

Hello everyone! Allow me to introduce you to our newest member of the Dungeon Dad monster menagerie, the candlewax golem! This is a mostly original monster inspired by the Candle Golem from Penumbra. I have made a ton of changes and I'm really happy with how it came out. I'm also thinking that I might try to make more of an effort to include a section on what materials can be harvested from the monsters your PCs (or maybe you!) slay. What do you guys think?

Hey everyone! So I apologize for the total lack of content this week. It has been an insane time in life for me and I just haven’t been able to get anything done.
My muggle work schedule has been changed around a bunch as I’m doing a different job (within the same company) now, I’ve been moving into a new house, and I’ve also been painting/fixing said new house. All in all it has been a lot of late nights and long days just trying to get everything in order.

Sorry I am a few days behind with this one folks, the past week has been a real doozy, but hopefully you enjoy this fine fellow. The art is maybe one of the goofiest things I've ever seen but I really love this monster and I'm sure your players will get a kick out of it, at least until it starts assimilating the elf. This month that I've been away for work, I've been pulling 60 hour work weeks and it has left me with almost no time for doing what I actually want to be doing. What a task this one turned out to be. I proudly present the brainstealer dragon! This is what happens when you mix mind flayers with the most deadly creatures in the title of the game! Oh my! Here are three full pages on which you will find statblocks for all four different age categories, a writeup, regional effects, and of course lair actions. I hope you like it, and I can't wait to talk about it in tomorrows video!

What's worse than a rust monster you ask? More dastardly than the disenchanter? Why, it's the Aurumvorax!
This eight armed critters dine on gold and the foolish meat bags who carry it. They're kind of like a dire honey badger that wanted to be an octopus. Any way you slice it, horrifying.

The light of Amoth has risen from 4th edition, and brought us another elemental! These guys belong to a very weird group of monsters known as apocalypse spells. They are literally monsters that gained sentience in the aftermath of a crazy powerful spell that killed a demon lord! Much more on them and more in the near future, but for now enjoy that statblock!

Hey guys! I have come up with a solution for something I have been thinking about for awhile. Since I started doing the patron statblocks, the only way to really have easy access to them was to either save the images for yourself, or to go digging through tons of posts when you needed to bring the images up.
What I've done, is set up a google drive that will be storing all of the monster statblocks I post here, so everything will be in one easy to find and convenient location. This should also...
