A Shocking Little Lizard!

I’ve currently got PCs exploring a subterranean river on a magic-juiced island, in an adventure styled very much for Monster Hunter (with home brew translations included). I’m planning to have a kruthik nest deeper within the cavern and having the party come across shocker lizards being hunted by the nasty critters could be a great way to show how both work without forcing a combat
