Grace Bikini WIP

Just thought I'd draw Grace.

Nami

I tried to draw a portrait of Nami, trying to go with more of the original style and less of me.

Then I thought I'd add the rest of the body.  Not sure if I made the right choice making her kind of stretched out to match the natural style.

Okay, we're at the half-way mark in the chapter.  My goal for here to make Gremlin a little like Ultron.  It keeps evolving and it'll run away if it doesn't think it can win.  

Also I wanted to make this a problem more tailored to Annie's problem-solving abilities instead of just a pure fight.  She'll have to keep altering her plans.  She'll have to plan for it to try to escape.

Pulse 490 WIP 4

The inks, basic shadows, and flat colors are done.  I just need to do the the more complex shading, and letter the page.

Who Should I Draw?

Tried to pick some unusual choices.

• Pulse and Bolt (I need to eventually replace some of the images in places where Annie still has her old suit).
• Yuna and Rikku.  I figure some kind of bikini selfie?  They both still need a little work.

I'm not sure if this page looks different, but I've inked it on the Android tablet.  The last few years, I always draw the rough versions of pages on the tablet, then copy the files over to my PC and ink and color the pages there.

I often have more access to the tablet during the day than my computer, and I've felt like not inking on the tablet sometimes leads to a bottleneck of pictures and comics that are drawn but wait for computer-time to be inked and colored.

So, I thought if I wanted to have Annie deal with her first super-villain, I had to have her deal with it mostly alone.  I also had to have Tabitha not be there, or she'd insist on following along.  But Charlotte had to be there, or Annie wouldn't have felt like she could leave.

I'm not sure what my original plan was for this picture, it was sort of a doodle sketch.  I tried to make them a little less cartoony.

If it doesn't seem like I can complete this before Sunday, I'll work on something else instead.  If I post one page after a certain day it'll guarantee the next weeks page will be not done on time too.

Upcoming Pulse Enemies?

Maybe some enemies who may appear in Pulse eventually.

First one, this might be the current villain.  But I've been wondering I should make him more part robot.  Also, Gremin is the name of the robot, not the person.

Second drawing, this is Thorn.  Maybe she's somehow connected to the tree guy?

Third is Wrath.  I wanted a very traditional looking strongman villain.  His powers might be different, or he might have an odd personality though.

Lucy Bikini

Inked and colored this.  I had originally planned to just ink it and stop there, but decided it needed color.  I have trouble not coloring things.

Working on this again.  Made a few changes in each version.  I wonder if I should move them down on the page so it's more obvious they are in the bathroom.

Annie sends out her drone and it's attacked.

Okay, this is several pages ahead (I wonder if I should have re-included all of the future pages in each of these future page WIPs?)

Annie's drone is destroyed and she flies to it to figure out what happened.  Then she is attacked by something she doesn't get a good look at.  She stamps it with her foot, and then notices there's a long hole in the ground where she attacked.  Then everything is quiet.

Aerith WIP

I had assumed Aerith was going to win the poll at one point and didn't expect a tie.  This was a sketch I started of Aerith.

I'm not sure if she's big enough.  It's hard for me to imagine Aerith really busty for some reason.

Okay, this is going up here, but I haven't decided if I'm going to update the public site with this today, and then try to have another page for Thursday/end of the week or not.

I wanted to start including drones more and more with Annie so that will be part of Pulse and Bolt's thing.  I was trying to give them an unusual set of elements happening, and still this is setting up Annie with her first villain.

Lots of buildings to draw here.  I kind of think I should somehow add the drone flying to the last panel there, but it's really small so I'd a have to keep it really close to the POV.
