Because I'm late, all Patreons will be able to see all of the rest of the WIPs for this page.  This is the beginning of the second half of the chapter, where I start wrapping things up.

Annie as Red Monika and Thomas as Garrison.

Any thoughts about this?  It's always an experiment whenever I'm coloring with anything other than cell-shading.

Still not sure about that middle transformation panel with Mira.  Her chest I think gets way too big in the upper part of the panel, even if you consider she's probably 4 inches shorter at the start compared to the end.

I've been sick since Friday.  There's a chance it's covid so I've been isolating, but I've only had mild symptoms.  I'm waiting for the person who made have covid who I've been near to get re-tested.  I haven't been tested myself, I don't think they are accurate enough to completely be sure it what it is or isn't.  I'm just assuming it could be and going in that direction.  Although if they test negative, I'm assume the odds have decreased.

Materia Enhanced V, page 1

I wasn't exactly sure what to have them say here, so I went with something silly.  The joke here will be that Rikku finds it more challenging to use the materia on unsuspecting people than she expected.  She'll fail on every trip out until the final one.

(I know the last page of page IV isn't done yet, I just happened to complete this out of order.)

Remember, Mira hasn't interacted with Arim since before the sleepwalker arc.  I'm not sure that Arim changed exactly, but she did stop pretending as much.  She and Mira both pretended to be other people in a way.

Removing Mira from the story before was to make Arim and Evilyn change, and this is to make Mira change, even if it's also showing that she wasn't exactly what was expected.  It's also to make Mira, Arim, and Evil...

Pulse 454 & 455 WIP 1

Working on the next few pages.  I know what's going to happen, but trying to make it resolve by the end of the chapter (on page 460 I think).

I'm trying to steer the story in a direction.  I was trying to explain Mean Evie's plan is to just get to five horns and try to escape the complex.  If she was successful, she's be -at least- in the top five heroes, if not the strongest known hero.  The odds of her being able to break out aren't bad, although after five horns h...

My original plan is they find a strange solution to Evilyn's problem.  She'll still be a threat to a degree-- and it might even be she'll be upgraded to B-Class forcing her away from Mira and Arim's team.

BUT I do see the option of a second more unusual idea.  What if there is no solution and Mira just helps Evilyn escape?  Mira is ready to help Evilyn in any way possible.

Halloween 2021 WIP

The current progress on my Halloween picture, with Annie as Red Monika and Thomas as Garrison from Battle Chasers.

Like the last few pictures I've made, I'm trying to do something more complex with the coloring than just cell shading.  I feel like a really good colorist could do a lot more with it.

The blue backlight around her butt looks a little off, I think the pouch would shadow her butt more from that backlight.  The blue backlight I added at the end of this session...

Hopefully the dialog is readable...  I have page one more complete, but I'll wait until tomorrow to post it because I might have more time to work on it before then.

I figured that Yuffie's method would be to pick the smallest person in a group, mirroring Rikku and Yuffie's original motivation for themselves at the beginning.

My plan is to have this speed up a little, with one page with Rikku, then one page with Yuffie, and so on.

I thought this story needs to show how difficult it would be to fight someone who gets stronger the more you hurt them (to a point).  Evilyn could be killed obviously if they tried, but any survivable injury makes her stronger (until she has five horns).

• A drowsy Mean Evie.
• The woman with smoke powers changes her smoke to something that'll knock Mean Evie out.
• Mean Evie mouth blasts blowing the smoke away and revealing two of the others were nearby.
• The blast continues, knocking the blue guy back, and moving towards Mira and Mastermind who are still in the back of the room.

• Annie and Thomas for my Halloween picture.  Annie is Red Monika and Thomas is the sword guy from the comic ("Garrison"?)  In my original idea you would have seen both from head to toe, but the poses and layout was kinda generic.  This option seemed like it had a lot of personality.  I picked Red Monika's red jumpsuit outfit.  Her more common one seemed a little too skimpy for Annie.

I'm feeling like the story needs to start moving to the end, but there's still a lot of unfinished things yet.  Annie's doing something, there's Mastermind and Mira in Eviliyn's mind, there has to be a solution to Evilyn-- and we'll probably want to see Evilyn's maximum power.

We see that Evilyn destroyed half the robot's torso and arm.  Then the two fast women pull him away while the vapor woman creates a smoke screen.  Then the group plan out their next step under the cloak guy.

Then we see Mastermind trying to hold back Evilyn in her mind while Mira tries to talk to her.

Materia Enhanced V pages 1-4 WIP

Okay, here's a rough idea of my plan for the next part of Materia Enhanced.  To convince Tifa that their crazy lie was true, Yuffie and Rikku have to use their growth materia randomly around Edge to give the appearance of some kind of boob growth virus.  The joke of the story is though that whenever it's Rikku's turn, she keeps failing to make anyone grow, as her trips out become more and more silly.

Okay, this is as far as I have drawn out visually.  I suspect Mimi here will introduce something to giant Jen to make her smaller-- under certain circumstances.  Maybe it'll be a joke or constant threat that Jen's always on the verge of returning to this giant size.

Mimi will the stable-size huge one- and Jen will have two levels, too big to fit anywhere and at least smaller than Mimi (if not down to a "normal" big).

I'm not saying this doesn't mean any other won't be worked on, but I'll try to focus more on the one that wins, at least until the next time there's a poll.

Until I have an answer, my plan is to finish one of the WIP comic pages, and work on the Xom picture.
