What would you like to see here?

While I've been trying to get used to the Android tablet, I've been doing more pictures and sketches than comics. I've also been trying to include both some mild NSFW stuff, and a greater variety of characters.

I need to finish a "Day Off No Matter What", and at least start on the next few Maximum Max pages.

Am I doing too much of one thing or another? Too many sketches and not enough finished artwork? Should comics be the priority? Too much or little NSFW stuff? Certain ch...

April Fools' WIP

Not really meant as a joke, but just something different.  Pre-super-body Annie as Jungle Girl.  I'm guessing at a convention or something.

Pulse 424 + PSDs + WIPs

Last page of the chapter.  It had to be a soft ending considering that the story continues with Annie and her Mother into the next chapter.

I'm going to try to show off the situation for the stronger heroes, something that Pulse and Bolt can work towards.  Also give Annie a chance to fight Mean Evie and see if she attempts it, or is more reasonable.

Sketch Dump

Any updated progress of whatever sketches or WIPs the tablet.  Some of this still needs work or even I'm not sure who it is yet.

• "Big" Tifa.  I thought I needed to go back over this one and slightly rework some stuff before continuing to ink.
• Charlotte, Tabitha and Annie.  Something seems a little off, maybe Annie's head or face.  I might try to ink this one on the computer because it's more complex.

Pulse 424 WIP 4

First stage of inks.  Coming along pretty well so far, I think.

What's left to draw is Tabitha in panel 3, Jessica's head and Richard in panel 4, Jessica's head in panel 5, and details and shading on Jessica and Annie's hands in panel 6.  ...and I need to add Annie's ring in panel 5.

Pulse 425 - 427 WIP

Okay, some planning for the next few pages-

I don't really have a name for this chapter yet.  "Bring Your Daughter to Work Day" might be too long.

Pulse 425-

I think Tabitha will be out of her suit here, and either back in the workout clothes she wore earlier, or in casual clothes.

Pulse 426-

Annie might say in the first panel, "It's so bright up here!  Everyone here is famous!"  Then she's geeking out over everyon...

Pulse 424 WIP 3

Not a huge difference yet between this and the last WIP.  Added detail in panel 5, and added the white gutters.  This marks the step where I've moved the file from the Android tablet to the PC, although the only post-PC changes are adding the gutters.

Materia Enhanced IV, pages 10 and 11 WIP

I've made a little progress on this.  Does this make any sense?  I normally don't like to have pages that go in reverse like "Seconds ago", but it made some sense here.

Pulse 424 WIP 2

I'd call this, a "no reference" WIP so far.  The parts undone are stuff I need to look at previous pages to complete, like Mastermind's helmet, Jessica's hair etc.  In the last two panels, I think Jessica lets down her hair, and possibly uses her powers to rebraid it like she appeared with Mira.

I guess this is the soft ending for the chapter.  But it continues on with Annie and her Mother into the next chapter.

Inked and colored a sketch of Tabitha in a robe.  I must have flipped it and lost track of which way it was facing originally.

Cleaned up the inks a bit and finished the coloring.

My Big Life Outline

I clearly have enough things going on at once right now, but this was kind of my idea if I were to continue that 2009 comic My Big Life as if there were big no gap in time between chapters.

I'm not sure how long each of these chapters would be.  They might be shorter, only 4-6 pages, and that might require a few of these to be more than one chapter.

As you can see, this page originally started out very differently.  Some parts of the original version of this page will be on the next page instead.

I thought this got to the point faster, it also sped up the idea of Annie making new drones, connecting this back to the beginning of the chapter where she had to throw away her old drone.

I spent a lot of time rewriting the sixth panel with all of the jokes.  My original version seemed too much like Annie was intentionally...

Double Eve

Two simple pictures of Eve from the Android tablet that I colored on the PC.

I'm still debating how to use the tablet in the drawing process.  I wonder if I should try to start all items on the tablet and then ink them on the PC.  It seems like it's harder on the tablet to get line variation in the same stroke.  Like it's harder to have lines that start thin and go thick, or lines that start thin and go thick.

Pulse 422 WIP 1 Alt

After finalizing the dialog for page 421, I had a different idea for page 422.  It kind of gets to the point faster.  I haven't worked out all of the dialog yet.

I don't know what Annie's wearing in the last two panels.  I doubt she's wearing the black workout clothes from before.  She probably hid to change into something else.  She could be wearing the clothes she wore early in the chapter, or something new.

Adding in the drone here seemed to help connec...
