Back to Annie.  I think my goal is to try to keep her in the story as much as possible.  There have been several storylines that couldn't include her so it feels like she's barely appeared.

I haven't totally planning out what's happening this chapter, but I want the reader to find out Mastermind is Annie's mother in the next chapter or two.  I might also have Annie somehow involved with trying to understand Evilyn?  It seems like it's totally out of her league, but m...

The crazy coloring in panel 5 is because I haven't finished the flat colors there, and all of the extra shading.  I also have to fix some mistakes in Annie's overalls, and on the front of Doctor Hector.  ---And obviously letter it.

I'm late, so this goes up for all Patreons.

What happens here is that Annie's mom asks Mira to help them understand Mean Evie... and that's the end of the chapter.  The next page we go back to Annie for at least a chapter.

The reader won't know this is Annie's mom until the end of the upcoming chapter or so.

I still have to draw some little details, fix a problem where I drew on the wrong layer, look back on previous pages to see how big to draw Mira's boobs, color it, ...

Annie's mom offers to let Mira help them figure out "Mean Evie", and they go into the locked room... which is the end of this chapter, and then we move back to Annie for at least the next chapter.

Inked an shaded in parts, no dialog yet.  This is the last page of the chapter, and the last part of Mira's story for a chapter or two.  I kind of wanted Mira to be the submissive one here, and Mastermind me more dominant.

A Day Off No Matter What page 21 WIP 1

I'm not sure how Lucy is dressed here, but based on the request for nude versions of pages, this would be an obvious choice.  There might be one version where she's nude, and one version where she's wearing the super-villain outfit.

What happens here is that Annie makes her way down to Lucy, who she saw pop out of the water.  Lucy tells her that she swam down and only one part of the complex blew up.  And that "next time" they can explore more of it.

Added most of Sam.  What's left is Max, and a lot of background details.

I changed Max's pose in the first panel.  I originally thought it made sense because it explained why she seemed above the crowd on the last page, but it seemed like it didn't make sense with the other panels.  This seemed more natural.

One more page and I move back to Annie for at least a chapter.  I'll come back to Mira later.

I wanted to do several things here-  Make you wonder if she's just manipulating Simon (even though she isn't), where it's positioned makes it seem like it might also refer to him.  And to make Mira realize she's the best of the C-Class, but there's a whole other world of people above her.

This character is "Mastermind".

I worked on this for some reason, it's hard to resist starting a new scene, especially with a character I can draw from memory.

This is the beginning of the next chapter, titled "Upgrade".  Annie deals with the aftermath of the sleepwalker arc, tries to rebuild her drone, and tries to force her suit to upgrade like Tabitha's did.

I think some of the panels need to be reworked a little.  Maybe put Mira's smile and comment into the first panel.  Then show her walking to the door in panel three, then make a new panel five in-between the current panel four and five that shows someone exiting the door with a bright light behind them.

What happens is that Mira starts towards the door, overly confident, and someone comes out of the door to greet her.

I might need to adjust the busts on both.  I don't think I drew Max busty enough, and Sam isn't big enough in the first panel.

...not the next page.  If the other two pages are done on time, I think this is the December 31st page.  It's also the first page of the next chapter.  It'll be about Annie (which wouldn't be unusual unless you consider how little she's really been in the comic the last year).

I'm posting this to everyone because I should have been working on Maximum Max instead, although I'm going to work on that next, and it'll be my priority until Sunday or Monday.

Two more pages to this chapter.  I'm trying to make it a little unclear if Mira is being flirty because she's just manipulating Simon, or if she's actually interested in him.

I think the story has been away from Annie for too long, so when this chapter ends in two more pages I'll jump back to her for at least a chapter.  Mira's narrative here won't be over yet though, but it'll have a soft enough ending to wait a few chapters.

Making progress.  Not sure I like panel 6, the one where she's trying to zip up the top.  I might erase and redraw something similar.  The proportions aren't great, and I feel like it's missing the energy of the previous panel, and seems too similar to the seventh and final panel of the page.

I need to review all of the dialog and add both tailor the dialog to be a little more specific to the character, and also add some more little jokes or funny comments.

I didn't get a chance to start on this until today, so here's a very basic WIP.  This is the end of my window of time to work on it until late tonight, so I'll upload another WIP when I've made as much progress as I can then.

What happens is that Mira tells Simon to take off his uniform, and he tells her that she couldn't pass for him because they all have id cards.  She'd have to find someone she looked more like to impersonate.  But there is a female janitor who is off ...

Maximum Max 7-9 WIP

In strip 7, Max is up on something to explain why she was above the crowd in the last strip.

I figure Max is 25 and about 5' 7", and Sam is 24 and about 5' 6".  I'm considering some kind of joke that (unknown to Max and Sam) their parents are ex-superheroes, and also that they all live in Port Braddon (the same fictional city as Pulse).

She-Hulk and Tifa WIP

She-Hulk and Tifa tied on Twitter, so I thought I'd draw them together.  She-Hulk's hair doesn't seem right.  I think I have to take steps to make her more identifiable.

I was originally going to draw them fighting, but I thought a sexy pinup made more sense.

This isn't quite new, but I didn't upload this before.  I think Annie's breasts are too small in panel 3, and I might change her expression in panel 5.

My goal here is to move forward the narrative for "team b" (Mira, Arim, and Evilyn), but also give a point to move away from them and back to the main team in three more pages (at the end of this chapter).

There's more about Simon and Mira to include here in a way, but there's going to be an origin story about Mira and Arim that will cover that better than I could here without explaining the whole story.
