How to make Velcro eyelids
Quick little how to make Velcro eyelids. You'll need stiff black felt around your eyes. It's with the felt in craft stores but it's stiff like construction paper. The felt is what the Velcro sticks to.
I start with a paper pattern of the eyelid and then transfer it to more stiff felt.
Glue down what ever fabric you would like the eyelid to be onto the felt. For these ones I shaved down some fur.

Forgot the customer wanted attached feet so I taped back up my pattern to modify it. Sometimes I go on auto pilot and do silly mistakes like this 😅 thankfully I realized before I made the feet at least. Now to modify the fur I had cut out and partially sewn for the leg!
