This one is a fun little study on my thought process for renders.

So this was for X3rr4's monthly render challenge with the theme "poker or games". My original plan was to have the girls: one winning and excited, two losing, one confused and the other upset and throwing their cards.  The second image is actually the original render I had made, but (par for the course) I wasn't quite happy with how it came out.  I also had an issue with the lighting and just thought about going...

Another update: a bit of news.

Still making progress... been going pretty slow due to life being a MASSIVE bitch BUT there is hope!!! Due to... interesting... circumstances, I have the next month basically entirely free to power through to the end of this update!

Update 5 - Revenge of the Holiday Season

So I'm gonna be honest... holiday season KICKED MY ASS something fierce. Lot of issues the past 3 weeks. Golden Mean had it's big 0.4 release (seriously go check it out, Molly has made some crazy new animations) then real life came through and fucked up basically every plan I had for the holidays. And then a bit of "render's block" really didn't help just to mix things up.

BUT I'M BACK! Definitely behind schedule, but I'm through (what I hope) is the worst of it, and now I'm off to the...

Chapter 2 Update 4! The speed bump.

Scene four has been a... struggle... ugh. It took me quite a bit to get through it and in the end... it just kinda sucked... I took it back to the drawing board and think it's going a hell of a lot better now.

I've  also been stupid busy, been getting ready for the holidays, had a birthday (woo!), and also getting ready for the next release on Golden Mean! (seriously go check out Dr.Molly www.patreon.com/DrMolly/).
Progress has been a little slow, but I'm getting back into the ...

Just felt like I had to get something else out this week. Goblin Encounter is going along fine, just a little slow (lot happened this week, but still on track).

(POLL) What kind of story would you like to see going forward?

In lieu of a weekly update this week saying "yep still working on it," how about I ask you guys for some help.

I'm currently at a crossroads of what I really think I want the story to be. I know this is counting my chickens a bit before they've hatched, but as the story goes on I love planning out future encounters and story beats. I have a couple of ideas for where I want the story to go, but they are both pretty diverging paths.

TotE:GE-Chapter 2 Update 3

Didn't quite make as much progress as I wanted to this week,  but still knocked out quite a bit. Right now (excluding animations) we're more than 1/2 the renders of Chapter 1 while only being about 1/3 the way done. It's going to be nice bit bigger than Chap1 but it's going very quickly for now. I plan to keep up the pace for now, and hope to get this next chapter out before Valentine's day. That's the GOAL, not a promise. But at the rate I'm going, I'm definitely feeling this.

We have reached our first true (mostly) weekly update!
Got icons and stuff to signify how scenes will go.

I have most of the framework planned, but I've already made some significant changes, so we'll see where it goes.

I do want to start posting regular updates and previews, but I also know if I promise "weekly updates", I will definitely fall behind and we don't want that. 

For now I'm going to promise monthly guaranteed updates, with a scattering of bonus previews/updates here and there. Sometimes you might get 3 in a week, sometimes you might get just that one a month, but I want to at least hold myself accounta...

The response to "TotE" has been overwhelmingly positive and I cannot be happier. Seriously I cannot thank you guys enough.  🥰

The game needed some script fixes, but it most definitely needed some music. I also was given some advice on menu options and minor additional things to make it feel a lot less... basic...
